      Yep, I was wrong. For some reason they told me yesterday on the "online chat" service that it ended at noon. I only asked them because I was caught out when those $10 vouchers issued from the legendary eneloop deal of yesteryear expired at noon on the specified expiry date, not at midnight as you'd usually expect. So this time they tell me it's noon, when actually it's midnight… lol.
      Anyways, I'm glad you guys corrected my misinformation quickly/ hope many bargains were scored, and shipped free!

  You can buy these dishwands from Aldi for a few bucks with 2 extra heads. It's regular stock for them so I don't think this is a good deal at all. Check their detergent and sponge section.

  Does the sponge stay moist, or can it dry out?
  If the sponge stays dry, the amount of bacteria grows rapidly - and they will thrive with the detergent.
  The same applies with sponges. If you leave them damp, bacteria grows rapidly. With a sponge, you can squeeze it when you are finished.

    It seems you've accidentally erred re your intended wording in some way, because it's contradictory. I suspect you meant that if it doesn't dry out (i.e. stays moist), then this is conducive to bacterial growth?
    As an aside, anything that is porous and constantly moist is also prone to mould/fungal infestation… but that's another (none-too-pretty) story.
