Good to see Windows Phone gets an app especially when it looks like this app was done in a framework where they can just click export to Windows Phone :P

    • Why can't I find it on my windows phone or are you joking?

      • +12

        sarcasm

    • +5

But they are NOT free range Chooks.

Where are the ozbargain liberationists. Guess as usual they are selective. Chooks ok, Eggs aren't,

      ROFL

BTW the Chips are cooked in GM modified Oil

      • +21

I won't eat cause they are not free range potatoes. Know your food people.

      • +5

I eat organic raccoon so I'm still ahead

        Where are the ozbargain liberationists.

        checking in

        Chooks ok, Eggs aren't,

generally speaking "egg chooks" are raised in cages http://www.all-creatures.org/anex/chicken-egg-18.jpg to facilitate easier/automated egg collection which is what most "liberationists" have an issue with. generally speaking meat chooks are brought up in large sheds http://buttonlove.co.uk/primrose/meat-chickens-types-i7.jpg which imho is a lot better than a cage but not quite as nice as being proper "free range". i hope this educates you on the different ways chooks are raised for there individual purposes :)

BTW the Chips are cooked in GM modified Oil

        • Hmmm animal liberationists are ok with KFC chickens .

          Think again.

          Selectiveness applies again. LOL

          Not some UK based site.

But hey eat your cheap KFC and eat your processed foods that still use caged eggs.

          At least be consistent

          Sorry!!

Oh btw good call on the modified modifications I raised!! I'll pay that

        • oh boy, where to start on all that is wrong with this post..

Hmmm animal liberationists are ok with KFC chickens .

its certainly not idea but not every animal can live a "wild" existence before becoming someones meal. sadly with the overpopulation the earth is suffering you people either have to stop having babies or stop eating because simply there is not enough room to grow the food (meat/veg/feed stock for our meats) in the world
          </rant>

          Think again.

          http://www.peta2.com/issue/cruelty-in-the-kfc-slaughterhouse…

i had a quick skim though those pages, you do realise the 2nd link and vid is from 'merica right? not that i even have an issue with that vid and how they are killing the birds. killing animals is a messy business that most people could not do themselves, even tho most of those people still eat meat…

          Not some UK based site.

you realise i only used the first examples i found on a google image search to show the difference in cage v shed housing? which still stand up to what is done in australia and similar to the link you yourself posted about aus living conditions? so you basically agree with me…

But hey eat your cheap KFC and eat your processed foods that still use caged eggs.

i dont (or at least extremely rarely, like once every few years) eat KFC.

          At least be consistent

still not sure where i wasnt consistent, im certainly far more consistent than you seem to be as i have again pointed out?

          Sorry!!

no need to be sorry, we cant all be smart enough to realise we dont know everything yet, can you?

Oh btw good call on the modified modifications I raised!! I'll pay that

          :)

Good thing there's no scientific evidence that GM products pose a health risk, then.

        • +2

But what about modified genetically modified products? They could definitely pose risks.

        • +1

I like gm food. Esp seedless watermelon. With normal watermelons I swallow the seeds. Hooray for GM!

      • what is GM modifid?

        • +12

A lowered Commodore with Chev badges.

        • modifid

Maybe a little less than something modified.

Guess we all make mistakes LOL

          I guess we do.

      • genetically modified modified oil?

Can't find the 12 for 12 combo in the app…

  • Not many locations accepting this app yet (at least in VIC)
    Boooooo

    • +1

I guess they can only do as much as locations & demand allow. Integrating this into their POS must be a headache.

  • I have been using this app quite a bit over the last few weeks. I noticed the $1 chips yeasterday, but I was unaware they would market it. Further details on the xpress App are here.
Please leave any sensible comments or suggestions there, & hopefully KFC will take notice to further enhance the App. I/m heading out for a customised double combo now. ;-)

    • +10

Thanks for posting it yesterday mate. Appreciate it

  • Wish KFC had wedges instead of chips.

In USA they have wedges and no chips

    • KFC Singapore had them, this was many years ago tho. Also, recent Googleplay reviews said no stores in Brisbane participated in this deal/app? I'm on 300mb/month mobile data so can't try it out unless on Wifi

      • Yeah they have them in Malaysia KFC. Was there for xmas/nye

    • I think that you will find that wedges cost more, & take longer to cook.

  • how much are these Regular Chips without this offer?

    • +2

      $2.95

      66% off what a bargain

      • +2

        66.66666666 number of the beast?

        Edit: Ok it's 66.1% /faux pas

is there a list of partcipating stores anywhere? Looks like nothing close to Sydney CBD..

    • +1

Yeah seems the nearest is about 10km out of the city!

Also the iPhone app strange there is no option to onlyy set allow location 'while using' instead It is either always or never….

    • Yeah nothing near around me. Closest is 13km away. Useless for me

  • What stores accept this?
    Anyone got a list?

  • can we combine them with the 24x 10$ chicken nuggets deal ? :D

    • If it is still a valid offer from that store.

  • +3

Apparently not valid in QLD (not surprising)

"no participating stores" for Bris CBD

    • ACT too :(

    • Thanks. I won't bother with the app then.

    • +2

You get hot and spicy chicken all year around, absolutely no sympathy for you my friend!

      • +1

other states don't even get it once a year. It's been a while since they have offered it

    • Qld may take a while due to them being owned by the Collins group instead of Yum!

  • +1

AM I reading right, there is only a $100 order max?

If it also states "make those group orders pain free", what if the group order goes over $100?

    • +7

Then you will experience pain. Generally the next morning,

      • Depends if they are as much of a tight bottom as you!

Also isn't digestion around 24hrs or are you advocating $100 of kfc for breakfast? :)

    • I think they need 24hours notice for catering purposes, as well as pre-payment.

  • I have added a list of locations I found at random, using the App. It seems to only show stores within a 50KM radius. Please add any additions etc in the comments of that post. When I looked at the Adelaide stores, most were closed? Not sure if this is because of daylight saving.

    • The closed stores may not be involved yet.

  • Is there a min spend?

    • $0 min, $100 max

      • What can you order for $0? Are there any stores where you can place an order for a cup of water?

  • There's a store near me that supports it but the app takes so long to load I'm not sure it's even worth it…

  • Fake GPS is not working with this app. :(

  • Local store isn't listed as supported despite having posters+monitor in store stating it is.
    Eh, no bargains for me!

  • is the google play store down for anyone else?

  • Why not free?

    • What's free?
      The App is.

      • -3

They should give the chips to us for free

  • Hmm so it's like a self service checkout for fast food.

Wonder if other chains like maccas will follow suit with an app like this. Might make the McFlurry hack easier.

    • +2

maccas have had their app running for a while now..

  • I excitedly downloaded this app a week or two ago. Unfortunately there is quite a drive to a supported store and more importantly…

My substitutions weren't supported. Needs a way to swap potato and gravy for something else (usually dinner rolls or larger chips for me)

  • +1

I initally upvoted this but I've rescinded my vote because there don't appear to be any locations in WA. Not OP's fault, but not a 'bargain' for me either.

  • All the locations in NSW are mostly around Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast and Morisset isn't participating.

    • They actually have Morisset on the app spelled as Morriset, but it says 'Pickup is not available at this location'.

      • +1

I still can't see it on the list of participating stores But maybe they'll deliver. :3

        • Not sure why this shows up as closed, when so many don't show up at all. Maybe it depends on the area of the rollout?
