Whenever I tried I got a payment processor error.
It fails during the address check when checking for fraud, your credit card's address needs to be the same as your PSN account's address, I believe.
Need to purchase a playstation store gift card $20 on Amazon.com (using a fake US address, preferably one in New Hampshire or Oregon etc, to avoid sales tax).
this won't work. the purchase of this game is through a 3rd party website not through the us psn. the psn code is redeemed from the us psn however

When you sign into your US PSN tell it to make the console the primary console for that ID and then after the game has downloaded you can play it from your main PSN id so trophies/saves are on your account.
I bought during the last deal - great game, seller seems legit - huge download though.
I downloaded it then a few weeks later upgraded my PS4 hdd and there's no way to export your game data so I had to download the entire thing again :(

Why are they all but giving the PS4 version away with breakfast cereal but the GOTY version on PS3 still costs $50+?
Because there are more PS3 units than PS4 units, so technically, a game belonging to the PS3 has a higher market value.
For example, using something I noticed at EB today:

If you use the code and download the game on PS4 and after few weeks if PS4 dies then can the game be re-downloaded to the new PS4?
The code is redeemed in the US PSN store and then the game becomes part of your purchase history there, so you should be able to re-download it when you get a new machine.

I tried an australian Paypal account, and a Visa card - when I submit the purchase, boxed deal msg says
