Hi all,

This is slightly more expensive compared to the recent DSE sale on the Sennheiser Momentum Over-Ears… but for those who missed it this isn't that far off. Considering the RRP for this is currently still around $399.99 at JB and Apple store with Wireless1 having it up for $273. Around $50 saving.

It should be noted that this is gen 1… gen 2 is coming out soon with added feature and most likely a higher price tag.

  That is a pretty great price for new. I picked up a second hand set a bit cheaper than that, but if I'd seen them this price new at Amazon I'd have bought them.

    Too bad we both missed the DSE sale =(

    Would have pulled the trigger on that or this if I didn't have three sets of headphones.

      I didn't miss the DSE one, although they were a really good price. The are the on ear ones, which honestly I wasn't even looking at. The on-ear ones can usually be gotten for a reasonably good price, new and used. but the over ears are a different story!

        Nah, they had the over-ears on sale for $179 during Feb.

        And yeah… I don't like the on-ear ones… way too small.

  Be aware that the new version of the Momentum over ears are coming out soon. From reviews, sound is similar but they are more comfortable.

    Yeah and the added ANC, BT features seem pretty interesting… though I really don't need those features so might check out their wired versions to see how much they are… provided that I don't get this first.

    The one you listed is on-ear, the ones from Amazon is over-ear.

    Slightly different but yeah I agree that the on-ears are really cheap at that price.

  These are quite warm sounding headphones. Almost to the point that I feel I'm missing some high end with these. And the bass is a little all over the place. I'll have to say they look better than they sound in my opinion.
