    So do you get a free upgrade to mailbird 3.0? or is it just a lifetime licence to 2.0?

    I've wanted to get rid of outlook for such a long time and yet most email clients are either lightweight or annoying..

    Might try the free 1.0 version and see if it's any good..

    My only real wish is that it could sync google contacts so that way i don't have multiple contact lists and can keep it all in one..

    Installed and uninstalled within 30 mins.. looks nice but useless without google contacts support and it's a feature they said they'd have working 9 months ago..

      Tried Thunderbird? Has google contact support (with addon) and has pretty quick search function (using the quick search bar).
