  I've got the 15 cup version of the rice cooker and we've made perfect white and brown rice in it as well as a cake a few times. It's the best damn purchase we've made in a long time. We paid $120 for it when it was on sale at Bing Lee.

      The cake was almost perfect (human error more so than the rice cooker). We bought cake mix and threw in all the ingredients. Not sure what else can be made in it, we mainly bought in to make white and brown rice and the odd cake here and there. What were you looking to make in it?

  It looks like they've jacked their prices up. The rice cooker doesn't even come down to that price after applying the 15 %

    Delayed start only works in a few rice mode. For whatever reason the designer does not think we need delayed for everything else.

    Good for rice or recipe without "color" because cleaning is a pain. Anything that has natural food color like carrot will make you curse the designer. Wait till you try some of the included curry recipe in the manual.
