    yes, multiple times / long haul. Generally new planes (particularly their 787 Dreamliners are great), pleasant crew, good service, above average food.

    their cheapest fares to Sydney / Melbourne are usually with a connecting domestic flight from Perth, in case you mind that.

      They don't actually cover Sydney, only Melbourne.

        Ah, weird. The travel agent must have connected the Virgin domestic flight manually. Oh well, keep that in mind as an option I guess.

    Yes. Economy is good as can be for cattle class.better than the low cost carriers and Chinese carriers for now. Just do it.

    Yep, recently flown with them from HCMC/Saigon to Doha onto Frankfurt and return to Melbourne. Service is excellent, and like what erd said very good airline. I'd say I enjoyed it as much as Singapore Airlines.

    Flew with them from Perth to New York round trip in December/February… they're good, but Emirates is better imo.

  Flew with them a few years back to the UK, their economy is fantastic. Pretty sure they are/were voted world best airline for quite a few years

  Where is it $1331 from/to? Cheapest I saw was $1415 Perth -> Venice.
  EDIT: Melbourne -> Ankara is $1331.

  good aircraft. food and service are great.
  the only painful thing is transiting 9hrs at qatar airport.

  I nabbed their sub $800 melb - brussels return fare a few years back. Can recommend the airline, i can't recommend the countries human rights record which our media never shines a light on.

  Itineraries nbg from Brisbane and only marginally cheaper than Emirates Europe direct flights via Dubai. Computer says no….:-( !!
