      Thanks, added. I assume most HP re-sellers would be offering this deal. I found out about it as i'm trying to get quotes for a printer refresh at the school I work for and this re-seller http://mitronics.com.au/ notified me on the phone about the cash-back promotion. Will need confirmation if officeworks are eligible in the cash-back or not.

        Yep, but most Ozbargainers normally would search online for the best price, and grey importers would not be eligible for this…

    Pay a massive premium to get $250 doesn't seem very ozbargainish to me (can I patent that word?)

    EG: (prices converted from USD to AUD via xe.com)
    HP L1975A : $939 AUD amazon.com
    HP L1975A : $1,897 AUD HP reseller…

    HP L2719A : $2,995 USD amazon
    HP L2719A : $4,675 AUD HP reseller….

    If anything we are being ripped off majorly, you can organise a ship to address from the states and send it over here for much less than buying via an Australian retailer..

    Though on the other side of the coin would paying a massive premium be worth having local warranty ? or would it be wise to just purchase 2 of each for the same price knowing warranty is from the states…

    Sadly no discounts on any microservers. Apparently overseas markets have had cash back on microservers before.

        I've only just realised how much of a hermit I've been in the world of computing. Only just realised what powerful machines these are for my particular application.

        Doesn't help that these don't come on special very often any more and with the weakening AUD prices aren't going to soften any time soon
