Mate, it is written in the apps that it is going half price sales this week and i don't think 1 usd is equivalent to 1 aud, please do the conversion please
AppShopper reports that this is usually US$24.99
Personally, I don't understand how $16.99 is half price of US$24.99
Edit: It is showing in the AU Apps store for $16.99, and US Apps store for US$12.99
AppShopper shows this is the lowest price this has been.
I've been watching it for a while and the previous price drops have been for mere hours at a time, so to have a week at a reduced price is special.
