  • That's a good price on the Tru Blu but it tastes pretty ordinary. It's a case of you get what you pay for with fizzy cordial.

    • Ah yes.

      Fizzy Cordial

      For our southern cousins

      vs

      Soft Drink

      for those further North.

But where are the Taswegians when it comes to Wikipedia updates

Your references are out of control:)!

    • It's a great price for people to try Tru Blu for themselves. I love LA Maxi Ice and don't buy any other sugar free cola. I always stock up at this price. It often sells out and I get a rain check so others must like it too. Their lemon squash is also really refreshing. I prefer lemonade to be sweeter than theirs but I still buy it sometimes to have lemon lime and bitters.

I don't work for them I just don't want this Aussie company to ever disappear. I'd rather give them my money than Coke or Pepsi plus I prefer the taste.

Does the SIM Pack expire? Eg buy now and travel in a years time…

  • Does the global SIM card deal end today or start tomorrow?

    • Tomorrow

      • Thanks CrazyMexian.

i've just had a look at their rates, for travelling to japan i think it's still better off to get a b-mobile mobile plan over there.

        • Just make sure you have a mobile phone that covers their phone frequencies. If you have a recent iphone then no problems. I assume the newer samsung phones et al are similar.

        • Just get one with portable wifi works out to be like 5dollars a day unlimited download

        • @danielh:
Keep in mind that non-residents cannot purchase a pre-paid SIM in Japan, hence SIM and hotspot rental are quite popular there (Available at the airports, and some sites let you pre pay and book them for pickup/drop off).

You can roam there with your own service or use something like this (Which is actually pretty expensive compared to some competitors) with any 3G handset pretty much.

The Woolies SIM isn't great value IMHO. Much better options out there depending on your country.

        • @drewbles: Thanks drewbles. That info defintely helps. which company did you use if you dont mind?

        • @drewbles: Hi may i know if we picked up at airport do we have to drop it off there as well? Thanks. I'm going off to Japan next month and looking for cheaper alternative to get connected ther. Thanks

Note: $10 credit despite $14.50 price. Enough for about 7min of calls for where I'm going.

  • What happened to the 1.5L of LA Ice bottles? Can't find them in stock anymore. The 2.25L tends to go flat before I can finish it.
