      Not everyone would be aware that Sony maintain a 6-month release cycle for their flagship phones so the Z4 is due in the next month or so. It's definitely a factor to consider if looking at this deal.

    I'd love to get it, but I'm very scared about the random screen cracking that many have experienced with no trauma. This has affected the whole Xperia line from the Z1 - Z3 and compact versions. Sony Australia has not acknowledged it as a problem, whereas Sony UK has at least:

      I've had a Z and now Z2 and had no issues at all, friends have the Z3 and neither have had a problem either.

      A good option would be to get a tempered glass screen protector, might help if you're worried.
