  • Here come the negs. It's hard to buy this when a generic on eBay would be a few dollars shipped.

      ILL GIVE YOU ONE.
      the generic ones suck.

    • The generic ones don't work if you want to want to connect your device to a dock with 30-pin connector.

      BTW DUPE!!! https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/178931

      • Not a dupe. That post was over a month ago and expired.

You can buy generic on eBay which does the same for a few dollars shipped.

    • Not the same. The $1.69 w/free ship from ebay will only charge & sync.

      • i have a stereo with a lightning plug. I used a 30pin to lightning adapter (the opposite of the one in this post) with an old ipod. it worked fine.

        • +1

Your stereo is just accessing your iThing like a usb disk .. there is no raw audio pass-through on lightning connectors.
The listed $25 Lightning to 30pin adapter above includes a DAC.

The words "Myers" and "bargain" should never be used in the same sentence.

Such as Myer doesn't do bargain? :D

  • I think I bought one of those from Coles last year for less than $10, not sure whether it is genuine or generic but it works fine and still working.

  • My father in law has one of these. He's also a hoarder.

I believe the only reason he got it was he didn't want to waste his old cable.

I think I have the same father in law.

you want to check, it could be the same wife as well!

  • I got a couple of MFi ones at Big W for around $25… They are great… Been using them for about 3 months without any issues on 5S and iPad Air 2….

I got tired of getting $3 ones from ebay and throwing them out after a few weeks…
