[Adelaide] Free Bike Skills Workshop for School Children

130

Adelaide City Council is currently offering a limited number of places to participate in a bike skills course in April. If you want to start riding a bike to work or just have the confidence to ride with your family on the weekend, the accredited trainers will help to get you on your way.

The bike training is open to families with children in primary school/secondary school (sorry no pre-schoolers).

Parents must be riding.

BYO bike & helmet.

I don't live in the same state but I think this is a great idea. More councils should do this! Pity pre-schoolers can't come. My 3 year old flys along on his bike much faster than I can run.

  • How long would it take for my kids to cycle to Adelaide from Melbourne for this ?

    • Put them on the Overland and then it would be about 30 minutes from the train station.

  • From the title I was expecting this to be more of a mechanics skills workshop… DIY bike maintenance etc. That'd be wicked, but this is also a great idea.
