  • Any chance of a 500g bag special?

    • yes, Rep, any chance of a 500g before long weekend holiday break, greatly appreciated,

      • +2

I will attempt a special next month of 500g bags but it still works out cheaper if you get a 2 x 200g bag with the cheaper postage of the 500g bag. You also get the choice of variety instead of one big bag of the same flavour.

        • How many fit in the bigger 5kg bags, btw?

Shame you can only get 1.6kg in a 3kg bag!

        • Ah, will grab afew of the 200g bags then, thanks.

          @Mobe1969:

I will have an answer in the monring for you Mobe.

Aw yeah, I'll jump on that. Loved the small bags I tried last time round!

  • When you say email for pickup, you mean just email what you want and then pick up and pay then? Or can you place online and choose pickup

I might have make a detour on the way home. That said, the extra effort and energy and time to get there vs $13.40 postage… Hard choice!

If you order online Mobe and then email us we can try to have it ready-This depends on the size of the order and if we have the product here. We have a fair amount of stock packed today for this special so let us know.

  • Bulkshot is a nice choice, I am gonna get some again, thanks for the deal! :)

  • Grabbed some, first time trying Geronimo. Hope I like it! :D

  • HI OP.

    bloody nice!
and the hot stuff is flaming hot - just the way i like it :)

  • Could you tell me if I like biltong, would I like this too, in terms of texture?

    • Hard to say really-I have had a lot of biltong eaters that love Geronimo. It really is a completely different snack.

      • It is close-ish to stokkies or snapstix or the thin stripped dry biltong.

        • I would say thin stripped dry biltong

        • +1

@GeronimoJerky: I just mean I've seen them referred to by different names by different vendors. I've seen them called stokkies, Biltong snapsticks, stix, sticks. But to describe them they are thin jerky sized strips of lateral meat cuts that are seasoned and dried, like jerky, and you just eat them. Traditional biltong is more like the air cured Italian smallgoods like coppa or proscuitto where you get a block of it, and you slice off strips across the grain. Jerky is often cross cut strips rather than lateral like the stokkies. So if you like stokkies, you'd probably like jerky.

        • @Mobe1969: I see. Maybe I will give it a shot :) Thanks a lot for the comments.

    • I love biltong, it's soft and tender. This is hard at first in terms of texture, but once you start chewing it's the same goodness with exceptional flavours.

  • Awesome ….

  • I hope I don't get jerked around with delivery

  • Ordered a nice selection! If I enjoy, I hope to see more tasty deals in the future! Cheers OP!

    • Just a little follow up, super fast delivery/dispatch to semi-regional Qld, (Mackay) and really delicious! Will definitely be returning! Thanks GJ!!
