With Netflix launching the past week, Presto is upping the free trial to two months with the code PRESTOCG. The following is from TV Tonight:

Presto is now offering a two month free trial for new subscribers and offering a range of History Channel documentaries to commemorate the centenary of the First World War.

New subscribers can add the PRESTOCG code to the one month free trial when signing up, effectively doubling it.

Note: It looks like this is only for new subscribers since I tried adding the promo code to my existing Presto account but it did not work.

  Unmetered? Otherwise I would stick to Netflix since iinet offers unmetered access to Netflix.

    The only reason I am choosing Netflix over Stan. Stan has been great, but you can't beat unmetered HD content.

        $100 for 200gb with a phone line (or $70 without) with Internode. I have unmetered Steam, Netflix and a free Usenet server to use. I get that there are cheaper ISP's out there that have unlimited quota (there is a reason for this), but have been happy with Internode's service for the last 7 years.

        @Dagmar: Internode should really be doubling those quotas to compete with Telstra's free upgrades this week. 500GB quota, 100mbit cable, legacy plan w/phone line: $78/month.

        Naturally, you'd have better customer service, although I do enjoy utilising live chat for my mobile data pack changes.

        I do like that quota-free is a factor in individual's choice of streaming services.

        @Dagmar: That's okay, I'm used to spurious ozbargain negs and writing a lot of detail is hard as I'm generally using my RSS reader's webpage renderer when posting comments!

        I'd be interested to hear if Internode reward your loyalty, like Telstra does! :)

    This works fine for me as my broadband connection is mediocre. Nothing wrong with 480p. My eyes are used to DVD quality.
