Cheapest price I've seen for a copy of Borderlands: The Handsome Collection from a bricks and mortar store.

  • Plus to get it on release day (26/03) and guaranteed Australian stock.

Please note another deal posted previously by seabas, from OzGameshop for $64.99 should some people prefer to order online. (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/187077)

I gave you a +1 for mentioning the ozgameshop deal, as those happy to wait can get it from there for a little less.

Well the OzGameshop price is the cheapest for getting the game, but yeah for those who want to buy from a local store this appeared the best option.

I should link to it though also…

      Cheers.

I'm happier to save $20 (I found I had a$5 voucher) and wait a bit longer considering I'm only buying it for presequel and I waited long enough for it to come to PS4.

  • anyone else feel this is a ridiculous price?

For a rerelease of two of last years games that fetch $10 and $20 second hand 50 would be fair.

      agree…
I think it will drop in price pretty quickly.
the thing it has going for it is all the DLC for both games that is included

      • dlc is a ripoff joke. In the old days we called them patches lol

        • yea… sadly, its not the good-old days anymore.

        • Yeah that's another whole debate.

Thought it was strange that this is more expensive than what I grabbed Bloodborne for. But then again, I suppose it is 2 games and a lot of "DLC". I'm sure there's many split views on this one.

I'm guessing Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin will be similarly priced too.

        • @Richy:
There is a ton of content in Borderlands though so I don't really think people won't get their monies worth. I picked up the OzGameShop one anyway, thanks for the link.

        • @kaneissik: Sure thing. Yeah I don't think it's necessarily a bad deal. It is a lot of content (even looking past the slight exaggeration of how they advertised how much content there was).

There is going to be many hours of playtime here (And I bought Borderlands 2 on last gen too). Looking forward to picking it up tonight :)

          Enjoy!

        • @Richy:
I received Bloodborne today from JB so I'm sure that'll keep me entertained until next week! I'll let you know if I've trashed my PS4 by getting angry from Bloodborne.

        • @kaneissik: Ha, Bloodborne has been awesome so far. Once things start to click and make sense in how they work, you're hooked. Will keep you entertained I'm sure too.

        • @Richy: not a dark fan but I've been tempted to pick this one up

        • @acex1138:
Neither was I. I wouldn't say it's too difficult if that's what you're afraid of. The world is absolutely beautiful too.

        • @kaneissik: im not one of the sadistic people who orgasm over the darks series 'zomg is so difficult' to anyone who plays fps on nightmare modes it's nothing.

Comes down to quality of gameplay and storyline.

        • @acex1138:
Oh, no I'm the exact same. I don't play on the hardest difficulty so my epeen is larger, that's not fun to me, if I want a challenge I play multiplayer games. I just mentioned that it's not too difficult since the Dark Souls series is known for that aspect. Gameplay is fun thus far and difficult, especially with parrying (hard to get used to, for me anyway). Can't comment on the story as I'm absolute shit house and I keep dying.
