Decent price, but probably won't be very popular with the 50c for 3GB deal running :P

If you are lucky enough to find any Kmart with stock.

That deal has been Ozbargained, I believe. I didn't find any in 3 Kmarts that I went to on the way back home yesterday arvo ;)

    • Also that deal is expired. Those cards all expired yesterday.

      • In the deal it says:

Expiry dates on these range from April 2015 to December 2015. Make sure you check the expiry date because a couple I saw were already expired.

Well I'll be a tickled toad. That just makes me more salty that I missed out.

      • Nope. The six 50c 3GB iPad SIMs I got all have an expiry date in December 2015.

  • $15 for 2GB data

That's expensive compared to the 50cents deal.

    • Telstra have no consistency - just expiry dates.

  • Holy hell I went to the site and I get this chat window: "Hello Ozbargainer - Need any advice, talk to a expert now."

    They KNOW! THEY KNOW!

      I wouldn't be overly concerned.

If you've ever spoken to a Harvey Norman employee…
you'd know very well the chances of them knowing ANYTHING are rather remote.

It's using the http referral header. Nothing remotely impressive or interesting about this. Yet someone always makes the same comment every Harvey Norman deal.

    • Guys….this was a joke comment. I know how they know. Geeze take the fun out of it more why don't you.

      • Sorry :(

  • But thanks for this. I needed a mobile data deal by Tuesday. This looks good enough since it'll use the Telstra 4G.

  • pardon my ignorance but weren't these originally 3gb for 30$ ?

    • +2

      yep, not anymore.

  • Does this work just with an ordinary phone too?

    • Assuming that you're using it as mobile data on android phones, yes but just with prepaid mobile broadband data option only not the iPad mobile broadband.

      • Was going to use it in an iphone would that still work to put this sim into?

        • Sure it will.

  • do these need to be activated by giving them all our personal info?

    • Name, DOB and address. Maybe driver's license number.

They don't ask for your waist size, sexual preference or what you dreamt about last night.

  • what you dreamt about last night.

    zzzzzzzz".50¢ SIM cards " zzzzzzzz

  • Their last deal for $8 was much better.. $15..meh…

  • Can u use the credit on google play?

    • yes, enable telstra billing when making a purchase.

  • Holy ratsh!t 2gb . .get that every time i switch my voda-band, [wcdma<->lte]-> 2GB.

Little wonder they are falling out of favour 8)

    • wat?

    • Translate
      elaborate

" switch .. [wcdma<->lte]->" -> would be merely a habit, in android, on ¹vodafone, prepaid :
¹Toggling b/w Ntwk - 2g/3g/4g- OR power cycle Phone resets session. for as many 2Gb's as you want²,
²On Weekends which for myself turned out to be more sensible than running around for $15 out-of- stock typically, Sim packs the subject of the-old 'offer'.

"Holy ..2gb"-> that just echo my "I find this passé in 2015" sentiment, 2 cents. But then, telstra finds 10 percent of 100 votes it held once for a starter deal/package otherwise heralding demand cooling off.
