Now I don't know how I managed to get this camera at this price.. but it was listed as $777 on the shelf so I snapped it up quick smart without giving it a 2nd thought..

The cheapest I can find the kit anywhere is about $1400.

I was in Sydney a month ago for the Eagles Concert and JB Hi Fi Sydney City had one down to $950 - then there was an post on a forum where someone picked it up for $900. Went in next morning - Offered them display for $900 (Em1 with 12 - 50) - they accepted - I paid for it and then the salesman said "by the way it had a broken battery door and scratch on the lens" so I passed.There where several left in NSW according to another forum post so I assume this was one of the urn out deals of display models with the 12 - 50 lens only. Very good buying. I have enough OZ bargain "bargains" so it was want not a need. I will wait for the Em5 mk2 prices to settle a bit but that may be while.
I picked this up in Adelaide CBD on Thursday - perfect condition display model. Apparently they are clearing out to display something else. I asked if they had another but they said no, but I could pick up another body for $1295! I passed and walked away with the camera and lens for $777 :)
Cleaned it up and worked perfectly - oh and they forgot to take out their 16GB SD Card, so I guess I got that free too!
Thanks to OP. I Picked up the last one (display as well) in Melbourne Metropolitan area today, maybe one or two left in country vic.
Thanks OP! got one from Colonnades, SA. Was one of those in the glass display and not on counter top for hands-on fiddling, so condition was +++. the deal wasn't advertised in their shops though, sales reps all swear that that the price is not possible until I quote the item number.
Was there any more stock?
