    Just putting it our there (again), Choice tested alkaline batteries a few months ago and these were one of the worst performing alkaline batteries on the market (down there with supposed German quality Varta batteries from Bunnings). The big surprise packet was Activ Energy batteries from Aldi that out performed nearly every other alkaline battery on the market at a normal price of 62c ea. Now, I'm no great fan of Aldi, but I have to give them credit for these batteries and that they have a Planet Aark battery recycling bin in each store. Yes the batteries are from China but hopefully Hepatitis free!
