I don't suppose anyone knows the thickness of the internal drive? I'm looking for a 7mm drive but in guessing this is 9.5mm or higher.
From what I can find, this is a thick portable.
Their page is a bit poo. Shows two case sizes, but not which driveis which. 15mm or 21mm thick. Both is far from slim.

I think the thickness specified includes the casing. The drive itself may be 9.5mm or 12.5mm.
Yup. As above, that's inc. casing.
After getting to the bottom of it all, the only 2TB 9.5mm (bare-drive thickness) option is Samsung-Seagate.
7mm 1TB is limited to WD-HGST (formerly known as Hitachi). Or 500GB Seagate SSHD Thin (8GB SSD hybrid built-in… but they're like tits on a bull.
Why pay this for Seagate when you can get WD?
Don't WD have integrated controllers meaning you cannot take the drive out? So if the USB port fails the whole thing is cactus.

Got this for $83.20 few months ago, would hold off and keep an eye on Officeworks page.
That was a true once-off. Never seen a deal that sharp for any HDD.
