    I cant understand (apart from the gouging they are trying on the fans) that they couldn't release the extended version at the same time as the standard version

  Went to Big W Riverton, but couldn't find it but found Desolation of Smaug with Legolas Lego instead for $22.50 after discount.

    You can goto Big W Macquarie Shopping Centre if you are in Sydney. There are many filling one side of a stand alone display stand in the main aisle just in front of the Technology section (with racks of DVDs / games).

    The 25% off is on until Monday 6th April.

    I left about 2pm yesterday. Many for 2D only BOFA with figurines still available. The 2D DoS with Legola figurine is selling at $30 before discount. The 3D BOFA selling at $38 before discount appears to be sold out

      I'm in Vic. I'll try another Big W today. If not, I might ask behind the counter. Worth a shot. I'm so disappointed though. The other two movies I got the Blu Ray + DVD + UV version. This time it seems it's just DVD + UV, Blu Ray + UV or 3D Blu Ray + Blu Ray + UV. No Blu Ray + DVD combo :(

      How many discs does this Lego version have?

        On the normal catalogue it says the dvd special finished yesterday. This is the Price before the 25% off. Not sure when they say dvd whether it means including Blu Ray. If it is the price will be $34 now instead of $25 before the 25% off.

        I got the 3D pack with 4 discs, namely single disc for bluray, a feature disc and 3D bluray over 2 discs.

        No idea how many discs for the Lego version but from the cover, only Bluray + UV indicated. Guess you noticed and unhappy no DVD to complete your trilogy set, a pity.

  None on display in Midland but asked the girl behind the Entertainment counter and she went out the back and got me one. Price was $18.75.

  I managed to pick this up in Mildura, also $18.75 with the 25% off $25 - funnily enough the regular bluray was retailing for $34 still - sagitox, the lego version contains Bluray + Bluray Special Features Disc.

  I also managed to pick up a copy of the new Lego Batman dvd - with bonus purple lego batman minifigure - It seems that Big W get the Lego edition exclusives as I haven't seen them anywhere else
