**EDIT
I have scanned and uploaded my personal invite (name and address removed). Hopefully you can use this. Note that this was sent by MAIL to me and was printed on cardboard paper, not the regular kind - last year they didn't care though, and just offered the 50% off up front without asking for any invites (not sure if they are doing this again)

    ^^

yes i agree, although the RL polos have an RRP at around $109.95, it is almost always available for $69-$79.

DFO usually has it lower at around $49-$59 if you're lucky, but most prices are similar.

    And.

SERIOUSLY, COULD YOU GUYS PLEASE READ THE POST BEFORE ASKING OTHERS TO SEND THE INVITATION.

IT'S LISTED ABOVE IN THE ORIGINAL POST…IN FACT THERE ARE TWO LINKS TO IT. SO STOP ASKING THEM TO FORWARD TO YOUR EMAILS BECAUSE..

    IT
    WILL
    NOT
    HAPPEN.

  • Just had a chat yesterday with RL seller at Myer. He told me that you guys have to present the card as it is 'private sale'! So If you print out from email, it will not work!

Many Indians and Chinese clean up the Nike factory sale at Christmas too. They absolutely trashed the place like it was nothing.

  • Anyone have any luck today? Did they have a variety of sizes??

Went to Harbour Town store today with no invite. They don't have big signs on the windows announcing the 50% discount.

The sale is 50% off the lowest marked price. Even sale items are 50% off

    The store was well stocked.

The worst bit was waiting in line for 1hr and 20mins to pay for the items

Got $580 RRP worth of stuff for $150. So I guess the wait was worth it.

Oh yeah the Oroton store nearby is 50% off also until Sunday

    Hi all,

I went to Essendon DFO yesterday morning.
It looked really busy, even with people without the 50% off voucher.
There were no sale signs anywere but a lot of clothes were reduced considerably.
All shirts in the store were $79, polo t-shits $69.
Not many polos left though, and I went in the second day into the sale in the morning!

The people in line to pay varied. I spent about an hour looking around, when I got in both lines looked like there were at least 5-7 people waiting. When I decided to pay, I was the second person in.

I'm considering going back on Saturday, but I'm expecting chaos.

Perhaps I'll camp out in front of the store.

  • It's worth the wait and the crowds. I got $680 worth of clothes for $290 as one was already marked down! My partner got $500 worth of clothes for $250.

We saw plenty of stock last night, lots of polos in many colours mainly in L and XL.

  • Private sale for everyone. good!
I guess RL wants more sale in the gfc, but doesnt want lose face. so, public " private" sale.
    anyway, good for us!

  • Excellent sale, lots of stock at DFO Essendon yesterday, the queuing time was minimal considering the amount people there (30-40) and I got $450 worth of clothing for $150.

  • Went to DFO homebush today, was pretty packed. There were only XL and XXL sizes left in everything. dissapointing. Not one Small.
