I found low priced flights from Singapore to Paris return to Sydney with Etihad Airlines for about AUD 840. There are many super low flights from Sydney to Singapore with Scoot Airlines for about AUD 300 with checked 20 kg luggage. Overall cost of return flight from Sydney to Paris with minimum 1 night in Singapore is about AUD 1173.

  • Great price but be aware of the long travel time of the journey to Paris, there will be essentially 2 stop overs.

    what are the dates?

  • yeah agree that is a longer travel time but still amazing price

It's been found better in the past ;)

      • It's all about timing. Etihad runs a global sale about once every month or so, that's when you should start looking. Just use Kayak and go crazy with the combinations, have flown on some pretty amazing deals to Europe and North America in the past.

  • another 10% off if using amex offer?

  • I'm here in Paris now via the same method booked last year's sale. Stopovers aren't too bad especially I stayed overnight in SG.

      Any bargains in Paris mate?

I found a bakery that would do your choice of a sandwich, drink and dessert all for €4. Can't remember the bakery, but what a deal.

You'd be surprised… AUS is so overpriced and one of the reasons we need a website called OzBargain!

        • Agreed - lived for 5 months in Paris. Much cheaper than here…

  • Same here, currently at Disneyland Paris. Cost $208 SYD-SIN on Dreamliner and less than $800 on Etihad returning to SYD. Had a three day stopover in Singapore with another four days in Dubai on the return trip.

    • I thought etihad only stopped in Abu Dhabi.. Not Dubai? That's one reason why I wanted to fly Emirates/Qantas, as I wanted to stop in Dubai not Abu Dhabi

  • Great price, although I'd be wary of connections with scoot.

  • I did a trip like this last year with Scoot and Etihad. Cost less than $1100 and had no problems at all.

If your booking Scoot, book on a Tuesday morning when they have their sale each week. Every second week is to Singapore (or it was last year anyway).

With the money I saved booking on a Tuesday I opted for an premium seat for an extra $50 that resulted in a whole row of seats to myself and nothing in front of me. Was the best $50 i ever spent!

  • I've been looking for a while now to travel back home during school holidays.
I booked Perth-Sing return for 260$ few weeks ago. The best price I've found was Sing-Milan/Copen-Sing (as we need to go home to Italy and Sweden) with Finnair for 1200 sing dollar. Now Etihad has Sing-Venice Copen-Sing for 1080. Thanks guys :)

  • @9500 miles. I had a look on your site and It may be good to have a function where everytime you post a deal on your site, fo those who sign up to newsletter or deal alerts, can be notified of deals.

This can be in addition to oz bargain. :)

  • Hi, thank you very much for your suggestion! Will do that!

  • Etihad do operate out of Abu Dhabi, but they provide a free coach service to and from Dubai, I think it takes just over an hour each way. You can book transfers on the Etihad website in advance.

  • Tried booking something similar tonight. When I got to the payment page I would go through the verified by visa sms verification with my citi signature card but payment kept failing. Rang the bank twice to see if it was the card but it was clear. The verification process worked but I got en error message from etihad saying that the payment did not go through. Could it be because its an au issued card and buying a ticket in myr?

    Anyone have problems like this?

    I am going kul-auh-lhr and osl-auh-mel.

    Thanks
