naa, i bought some from coles few week ago.
So might as well buy 7.5% off Big W egift cards from Groupon and then convert them to physical cards. Then all your eggs are not in the one basket.

Just walk into Woolworths or Big W and buy a physical card by making the payment with the egift card. Occasionally you get an operator that tells you that you can't buy a gift card with another gift card, but I haven't had that problem since last year.
It's one extra step you have to do but it doesn't take much effort at all. I can't see the point of buying these DS cards at the same price when you can use the Wish card (physical card) at 10 different stores, including Dick Smith.
It would have been a different story if DS allowed you to purchase these cards with already discounted wish cards.

Pardon the noob question but can anyone confirm why DSE is not listed as participating store for Wish cards according to online search results at https://everydaygiftcards.com.au/gift-cards/learn-more/participatingstores yet it listed in the terms and condititions at https://everydaygiftcards.com.au/media/static/Docs/wish_tnc.pdf? Is it just a case of not or only half getting around to removing DSE as suggested in the forum post at https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/108429 and thus still safe to do until we hear otherwise?
I am thinking to buy some at 7.5% off from this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/188989 instead so as to be able to spend on other things including groceries.

I can't comment on using Wish GCs in DS.
But you can always buy DS GC at Woolworths (using self-checkout or otherwise they might say "you can't purchase a GC with another GC). Effectively, you are still saving 7.5%.

I suggest that you wait for the gift card to arrive as it may take longer time if you request a refund from them.
