I was with Vaya and LiveConnect before I went to TeleChoice. I have beenvery happy with them. Their support is great and much better than the other two. I also get better reception.
I would recommend TeleChoice above the other two without hesitation.

I suggest that anyone who is looking at switching to Telechoice do so now before the new plans come into effect in May. They are giving you less and charging you more.

I'm currently on the $25 plan - $650 worth of calls, unlimited texts and 1.5gb of data (or for $3 more you can get 2gb of data). This is increasing in price to $29. However, calls drops to $500 and data to 1gb.

Admittedly the $39 plan looks ok if you need this much data/call time.

For those that that might be interested, your 3G internet speed is limited through Telechoice so in addition to not having 4G, you also have slower 3G.

I wish I knew before signing up. Always read the fine print… :)

    • where do u read about it ? can't find in their print . Thanks

They removed that 3G wholesale speed limitation some time ago.

    • Yes the internet speeds are slow as I used Telechoice til Jan.

As far as support is concerned they ignored my support tickets for over 5 weeks. Then I had to wait on the phone for about 40 mins and had to almost yell to get them to take any action.

Now I switched to Telstra prepaid and decided to stay with the fantastic support and service.

TeleChoice are only good if you don't need support imo. Ymmv.

  • Is boost $40 plan better than this?

    • Depends on your data/call needs.
      Boost has better coverage.

Seems like you would definitely pony up the extra $1 for boost unless you had to call overseas.
