FREE Tasmania Travel Guide

700

Get a free Travel Guide for beautiful Tasmania, courtesy of The Spirit of Tasmania. Just went there for Easter and had an amazing peaceful and seafood filing time. Would've been handy to have a travel guide too.
Got this emailed to me yesterday and every submission gets you I believe a hard copy of the guide and entry into some draw to win a prize as well. Sweet!
If you don't like Tassie just unsubscribe afterwards.

UPDATE:
Just received my Amazing Tasmania Travel guide in the mail today.

Really impressed with this small A5 sized guide which includes topical Self Drive Itinerary suggestions. That would've saved me hours to try plan one myself!
Plus, it DOES include a overall MAP of Tasmania with key places highlighted at the back page

    nice

    always free, belongs in the forums….

    • +5

      Tassie wasn't always free

    • haha this is a limited time freebie

      • So how much does it normally cost ?

    • -1

      Whining again..

  • +6

    does it include a map of tassie

    • Good point! would be a bonus if it did.
      Can't find any contact details for that to ask.
      I guess I'll find out when it comes

  • Is this guide just one of those things you can pick up at the airport, or is it something more? (excluding the competition).

  • I'd recommend getting the Tassie Entertainment Book too (though this year they split into two books, the buggers). I got the WA book for a 9 day holiday and paid for it in 2 days of cheaper meals.

    • Does it come with a map of Tassie

  • Hmm…the link doesn't appear to be secure?

    • It's not…

      I can see everything you typed.

    The competition discriminates against families with kids…

    • No it doesn't, you just leave them behind, or pay for them.

      • -1

        or pay for them.

        So you actually agree with me…

        • +2

          No, I don't. There is no discrimination involved. If you want to talk about that how about all those supermarket deals aimed at families - for example - 2 loafs of bread for xxx dollars - where's the half loaf for singles or couples? Endless tax perks and subsidies for kids. You have nothing to complain about.

          @wfdTamar:

          how about all those supermarket deals aimed at families

          This is a competition, not a purchase transaction, there are no similarities.

          It is obviously targeted and couples and they obviously don't want families with kids entering this.

        • +2

          So how many kids should they cater for? 2? 3? 14? It's a modest prize for 2 people. Maybe a single person could complain that it discriminates against them because they'd rather have a more luxurious prize only they could use. Or should it be for a whole extended family? All the aunts/uncles & cousins? All 53 of them?

          If you can't use the prize because of (too many) kids give it away.

          @wfdTamar: competitions discriminate losers

        • +1

          @wfdTamar: I agree with you on this one.
          I don't like how people with kids always demand, demand and demand… if this one doesn't suit you, then simply ignore it rather than complaining about how it's discriminating blabla… You have kids, that's your choice. You can't demand everything to cater to your situation.

        • -1

          @moonlite51:
          I demand you to…to…well…I don't know…

          I have kids and felt compelled to demand something… :-p

        • +2

          Perhaps I've decided not to have them because I realised my budget does not allow me to support them or I don't expect government/other people to subsidise my kids?

        • -1

          @wfdTamar:

          I don't expect government/other people to subsidise my kids?

          Neither do I, I don't qualify for any…

        • @jv:

          Correct just 1

    • On our way to Tassie soon, with Kids. This deal will be very handy.
      And I won't complain if we come away with a prize for two either!
