The powder is for top loader machine. I guess there is no harm put it in a front loader?
Don't recommend top loader powder into a front loader. The difference is in the foaming value, top loaders are designed to use bubbles or 'oxy-action' to clean clothes, whereas front loaders use the friction of the clothes against the drum, with little room for bubbles.
Personally, I will never again use powder in my machine after seeing the black sludge coating it creates on the outside of the drum…liquid all the way for me.
As long as you use less than 1/3 the dosage you might be in for a world of pain. carefully as frontloads need less detergent especially all the 5 star rated m/cs that use less than 9 liters per wash.
Yeah don't do it. I have once and it pretty much stuffed the front loader. It over foams and then forces itself out above the electrics on the front door.
