Apparently I am the only one on here that use e27 globes….so these are all mine.

I'm guessing these aren't certified for Australia in particular, doesn't seem worth it.

Dont use your email address with these clowns, they dont respect your privacy. I even used their remove me from the mailing list link, and I'm still getting their emails. They are not bound by decent respect for their customers so dont expect much from their products

    • Add them to your bitdefender spam list.

I have but that's NOT the point.

Better not to buy and get their spam

I'm another who has had a bad experience with these guys. Received faulty product and they refused to help because I got the bulbs at a 'special' price - just like these ones! Buyer beware.

    • Quite funny, they mentioned "Warranty: 2 Years"

    • Hope you bought through PayPal, they'll side with you and you'll be able to get your money back. Also, retailers are unlikely to ignore a refund request made through PayPal, because then you automatically get your money back.

      • I thought the Paypal guarantees were only applicable to eBay purchases paid with Paypal?????

        • +2

No, absolutely any paypal purchases. As long as they are "goods and services" rather than "gift" you are protected.

        • @Ashlea: thanks, good to know.

      • Yeah you guys are right - my problem was that by the time I received the items, they then strung out the support process so much - I had to send videos etc… by the time they refused to help the PayPal period for dispute was passed. I think PayPal have improved this since then.

    buyer beware with this mob.

90lm/W. Umm, no. They shouldn't be using the bare die specifications of the LED chips when stating the output of their finished product with diffuser on. I wouldn't believe 90lm/w is possible from a $2 product.

I've had a bad experience with these guys. Bought some of the Solar Powered LED Lawn Light (4 LED) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/156638 . One was Dead on Arrival. I tried to contact them a few times and it took 2 months to receive a reply.

Here's their reply "If you would want a new replacement, you may need to take a video for us just to show the process how you operate the light and it just does not light up. After we confirm the case, we will arrange to send you a new one."

If I was trying to rip them off I could easily make a video that represented a Dead on Arrival light.

I second the comment on the spam. Had to add them to my junk folder which they continue to star in.

    high quality(CE&RoHS)

RoHS isn't anything to do with quality. It means "Reduction of Hazardous Substances", so it certifies that the bulb doesn't contain some specific materials, like lead, mecury, hexavalent chromium, etcetera.

Since you wouldn't expect these substances to be in a LED lamp, it's as meaningless as if someone was trying to sell you petrol that is certified meat-free.

Granted that the device must say RoHS, or it would be illegal to sell it into Australia. But it isn't a selling point nor a mark of any sort of quality.

3W…how dim would it be anyway? I've got Philips 9w and 12.5w and they are decent output, but 3w would probably be pathetic, you'd need 10 of them to light your room properly.

    • not these but i brought some 3W candle led ones on ebay, was 12 for $19 incl postage. they work but are very dim like a old 25W globe so i think ill be changing them soon.

Was thinking the 6W ones might do a decent job.

      • +3

I would do no less then 8W if you want it to match a regular bulb.

  • +4

Not really a deal seeing these have a really low light output.

If so many people have had problem and they sell goods that are not certified to use in Australia shouldn't the store be banned, or at least items without the safety tick can't be posted.
