    with Entertainment Book 2015-2016

Damn hard finding someone that sells the physical book… Don't want to pay the extral $10 for postage….

  • Link is broken. Are they even associated? i can't find them at all

    • I assume you need to have purchased a 2015/16 membership to see the deal? I haven't purchased the next years membership yet and I can't see the deal on my 2014/15 membership…

      • +1

Mmm. i want total confirmation before this happens as I haven't planned on buying one.

        • +1

I've got the new book and it's listed in the book and online.

        • +1

@civijoe: Yeah its all good. I called HQ and they informed me. There is actually a drop down menu link that the guy said shouldn't be there. He also said the cards won't be available to buy till next week when the book launches

  • I have 2015-2016 digital membership and it works for this offer.

  • +1

But we don't get many bargain post for DJ.

  • Can someone who has the new book tell me if they are still offering 5% off woolies egift cards? I bought last year's book wanting to buy the Coles ones, only to find Coles was no longer in it. I don't want the same thing to happen with Woolies this year.

    • +1

Yes, 5% off for Big W, BWS, and Wish. David Jones (10%) and Ticketmaster (10%)

      • +2

        That's some good news!

Coles did not come back? Their loss. I will stick with WOW shops then.

  • +2

David Jones eGift Cards may only be used for purchases at David Jones

No kidding. I thought I could also use it at the ABC Shop

    • Lol

    • Pretty sure you can use them at Toys R Us

      • Could someone please confirm this? i would be very interested if David Jones egiftcard could be used at Toys r us!

        • +1

No you can't, I was joking.

  • This is excellent. Thanks op. DJs stocks heaps of stuff you only find rrp everywhere

  • Does the purchase actually go through the davidjones website?

    • No, you need to go through the Entertainment Book website to purchase the gift cards. It is available for purchase at a discount now on my Entertainment Book online shop.

      • Yes I understand that but what I mean is does it then take you to the actual David jones website for the final purchase? Asking because I have a David jones AMEX card and would get bonus points if the transaction is handled by DJ.

Similar to buying WISH cards at 5% off through entertainment book, the transaction is handled by Woolworths so I get 3 points per dollar

  • Does DJ sell gift cards? If so I can see myself using this a lot.

  • Does anyone know whether the electronic section of DJ accepts DJ gift cards, Dicksmith gift cards or both?

    • +1

It should be for everything in DJ. iPads are in my sight

    • +1

I was once told by the DJ staff there DJ gift cards and DS gift cards were both accepted by DJ electronic department powered by DS.

  • I remember the entertainment book used to have Sydney as a region by itself, now there is sydney+sydney north and sydney greater west. I can't get to decide which to buy. I live in Campbelltown, but tend to go dine occasionally in the city. Any advise what am I better of getting?

    • I would like to know this as well. Live in the Hills area, but dine more in the city…well, not that i am spoiled for choice in my area.

    • +1

I bought the sydney+sydney north eBook. Pretty sure it has nothing in there past inner west.

  • Can confirm that this offer is visible on the digital membership app :)

    • No, you need to login to entertainmentbook.com.au and purhcase from there.

    • Bring it up on the app and there's a 'web offer' button where the redeem button normally is. That takes you through to the website on your phone.

  • how do you use these cards? like the wow egc? can this be converted to a physical card in store? if so then do DJ sell other types of GC?

  • apilifestyle.com.au members can currently purchase DJ's pre-paid cards @ 15% off face value (this rewards company has recently been bought out by another rewards provider so I am not sure if they are accepting new memberships)

    • Anyone know what the name of the rewards provider that bought apiilifestyle.com.au are?

Need to buy DJ eGiftcards at 15% off!

  • Anyone know how long it takes to get these?

  • +1

Smartdiscounts.com.au if you salary package with smart salary has them currently for 15% off

    • I can't see them online. Do you know if they are still there?

      • No I think they are gone

  • Thanks OP! I used these gift cards on top of a friend's staff discount and got the Kitchenaid cook processor for $1,620 rather than $1,999. Good deal since both DJs and Myer always excludes Kitchenaid from their sales.

By the way, for anyone wondering, I received the gift cards pretty much instantly in my email. And I was able to use all 8 in my single purchase.

  • Does DJ sell Google Play Cards?
Can you this offer to buy them from DJ?

  • Ok, can anyone who has access please conform whether the purchases redirect you to the DJs page and if you can use DJ gift cards from Woolworths on the purchase page? then i will get one.

    • No, your transaction is with entertainment books, you pay them and they issue the e-card.

      • ok thanks

can I use my david jones gift card and egift card to purchase this egift card ?

    • no, you have to use Master card or Visa card to buy this

  • How long does the delivery of these eGift cards take? Is it instant to your email?

  • Can anyone tell me what denominations can be purchased? $50? $100, $1000?

    • $100, $250 and $500, however the two larger denominations have sold out - site says to check back on June 3.

You can buy up to 10 cards per transaction.

With the sales starting today, they must have had a rush on them - cannot think of any other reason they would be sold out.
