I don't think it has been one way or another. Perhaps until it has been proven to NOT cause health effects I'll keep the food vessels stainless or some other non corrosive with food material.
Except they were different colours - great when out and about to differentiate between each person's cup. I was very tempted to get these until it occurred to me you wouldn't have the benefit of this.
