The ChargeHR is $30 more and has a heart rate monitor and other features. However the fitness device market is seriously competitive now so choosing a good device for a good price is easier than ever before.

depends how tight you have it on. It does tell you to leave a bit of breathing room when wearing it. I never had any issues with mine

If you want really want HR monitor, then the charge HR is the way to go at $150 when they go on sale.
That's exactly my point.personally, I want hr, but for the people who don't need hr, xiaomi is a much better option.
