        I haven't had problems with my numerous orders so far.

        If I'm ordering an item with low stock or a hot item with fast-moving stock, I usually keep in mind that stock tracking systems aren't 100% accurate especially when retail outlets like DSE, OW, and TGG are involved (shoplifting, soiled stock, concurrent orders, etc). That way I won't be disappointed if the deal doesn't work out.

          Yeah this was from there ebay store, Maybe there not the same company.

          As when I looked on there website it was in stock at most stores (but extra 20 bucks)

        I've had two orders cancelled on me in the last two weeks. Worst part is that I paid with a Wish gift card but they can only refund me on a Dick Smith gift card so I have to use it at Dick Smith now.

        I would have expanded on my comment, but people would then accuse me of being a DSE apologist. :)

        I absolutely don't mind exclusions as long as there are still decent deals to be had. Based on the last DSE deal posted, some people would complain or neg simply because there is an exclusions list, and/or what they specifically want to buy is excluded. They ignore the fact that it might still be a good deal to other people who aren't interested in games or gift cards etc.

          I will see. I have a firetv to compare it to. Surprisingly the household can use the firetv quite well.

          Plus people at home don't want to 'cast'/airplay from their own device, they want a remote control!

          Chromecast can be better value it A, it works, B it does all you want it to do. I have neither of those covered in the 3 CC’s I have had, so a NP is far better value than a CC for me.

          You've had 3 Chromecast not work? I hate to jump to conclusions but I think the problem may be on your end. I know my Chromecast gets used every day for YouTube, Plex and Netflix and it's never skipped a beat.

          Not "not work" just not work correctly. Very poor performance for WiFi reception is what I put it down to.
          The NP has a far superior antenna arrangement for WiFi, so I don;t have that issue.

          The nexus player seems disappointing judging by reviews. I'm waiting around to see what the nvidia shield Android tv will be like. Tegra x1, better controller, Ethernet etc bit more expensive though.

          There is a strong chance I will get one of those too. As you say Ethernet connection, more grunt and it also has a IR receiver.
          Still leaves us with two problems that are Android/Android TV related needing to be fixed. No 24P playback, and Netflix app is stereo only.
