Am currently with Vodafone and looking to upgrade my wife's old phone. The Red Plans $80 and above come with double data for next 24 months.

$80 Plan - 4+4 Gb + 1 GB in case you buy it online - Total 9 GB
$100 Plan - 6+6 Gb + 1 GB in case you buy it online - Total 13 GB

I am sure if you call up Vodafone, they will throw in the extra 1 GB for buying it online.

  Do you know if you're able to upgrade your phone online? I have a few months to go on mine, so am thinking of upgrading, but the extra 1GB would be nice too.

    Yes, you can but I am sure if you call them up, you can score better than what they offer via upgrade via online. However if you are more comfortable doing it online, there is an upgrade button next to view plans button - http://shop.vodafone.com.au/mobile-specs/samsung-galaxy-s6-3… that you can use to upgrade online

    Even if you can't just call them up ask for the online deal. They will give it to you. Try to haggle for even more data or cheaper price. They will usually oblige and give you a little extra incentive.

      Thanks, speaking from past experience? What are we looking at - $83 down to $80? $75? I think 9GB would probably do the trick!

        S6 - Is currently $80 + $3 for the phone - $83 - speaking to them yesterday, they were willing to go down to $78 - I am sure $75 could probably be wrought out from them :0)

        @nat why: Thanks, I called up today to check the price, and $83 was indeed an auto reduction to $78, offered before I even had to ask.

        9GB of data per month + $1000 phone for less than $1900 over two years is a good deal IMO.

        Oh yeah, and they wouldn't wriggle at all in store.

        It is, but it's free to become a VIP. You don't have to buy anything else; you can just register as a VIP, get your discounted Telstra plan and be on your way :)
