    It's not a bad deal, the ps3 deal is better because you have a built in blue ray, games machine, and movie streaming through home network. Good deal though when they run out of PS3s or you dont want something so big

        I'm betting you will get the blu ray player and not the PS3.

        You'd think they would have to cross check the serials. My retailer gave me two original receipts too, so in theory provided I could find another serial I could claim twice. Don't think I have the balls to try this theory out though.

  Obviously not as good as the PS3 deal but nevertheless it still is a free blu-ray player. It will be interesting to see if the Bravia prices drop now that the incentive is a little less attractive.

  Gee….the PS3's have run down quickly…..I purchased my bravia Z 52" only 10 days ago, and there were still 14,000 PS3's left. I have since received the PS3, which will very soon be liquidated to eBay!

  Of course, unlike the PS3 where margins are tiny, street prices for the BR player will be much lower than RRP of $360.

    25000 got redeemed, so no more PS3 promotion. Lucky, as I bought 4 KDL40WE5's and registered for the PS3's. I know that by last Saturday afternoon, there was less than 5000 left.

  Oh, a little off topic, bust just to confirm were are being screwed by Sony here in Oz (as if we don't already know), you can buy this BR-Player (RRP AUD$360) for ~AUD$130 in the US.

    Sony is jibbing Australia across the board. A wireless controller for a PS3 here is about $98, in the US it's $38.
