Long time lurker, first time poster - please be kind :)

  Thanks for the post. Not too sure about the claim for lowest prices (and a bit hard to do without comparing quality). I put in an 1800x2100 50mm timber venetian into your calculator and I get a quote of $294.55 ex-GST which would be $324 including GST. Similar 1800x2100 50mm timber venetian blinds are about $260-$270 at Spotlight and Bunnings (Spotlight quote available online as well). That is probably the reason that many of the deals posted do not get many upvotes.

    The products are similar, however our product is sourced from a different supplier and therefore the quality of the products can vary as they are made from different timber. We believe that our product has stronger mechanisms based on the lack of reworks.

        @Miss Dior: Thanks, just checking because I think my parents have Alsafe Security Screens. :) (They didn't have any issues installing them years ago afaik though, but reside in QLD).

        I believe that ownership has changed sometime in the last few years and with it the service has too. I was one of the fortunate ones with Alsafe that realised something was a bit "off" and didn't deal with them. Wish I could say the same of Sydney Blinds.

  wouldn't it be hard if you dunno much about blinds?
  I just got my house built and needed blinds but they are so expensive to get installed.. :\
