$40 is quite a lot for a SIM only plan. Plenty of plans in the $20 range.
have to be realistic what are you getting on a $20 plan gigs, calls etc.. unless your a real low end user this iinet deal doesnt make much sense when compared to voda
This deal is not about the value of the plan but the value of the handset itself.
$18/m for $650 calls, unlimited texts and 1.5GB of data. Of course it mostly depends on your data needs, I have wifi at home and at work which means I don't need a big plan.

@batiudrami: as said depends what your needs are, your clearly a low end user, total cost for 12months on your plan would be $1111 inlcuding 1 off $20sim fee, majority would go for 3gb & unlimited calls, sms, mms etc.. each to there own in the end…

I am in the market to get iPhone 6 myself…just wondering if voda is the cheapest /best bang for the buck plan to get? I found virgin is cheaper at $70pm… But I am not sure if it's any good.
@hotcold: post the deal & compare, looking the voda vs virgin 24months surprisingly virgin is a better deal gives you 2gb more but no international min, are you looking 12 or 24 months, what ive found the best option with any deal is to go on a 12month voda plan starting at $107pm for 16gb model, 4gb internet + unlimited calls, then change to a $40 sim only when 12month contract is up, ends up cheaper then the 24month plans & your only locked in a contract for a year, just have to be willing to pay more per month for 12months then you would on 24month if a new phone comes out in a year you can re sell the phone at a decent price & put it towards another 1 year contract

I had a look into the voda plan, it shows $118pm for the above phone, so total didn't become too cheap but comparable
@hotcold: the $70pm for 24m would cost you $1680 with very basic inclusions
The $118 pm for 12m would cost you $1416 for the first 12m, as your a low end user you could then get a $18m vaya sim which would be $236 (including one off $20sim charge) total = $1652 over 24m, your out of contract in a year & its $28 cheaper then the 2years, for the first year with voda you will get unlimited calls, tex, mms, 300 international min & 4gb data
Going outright on that telechoice plan costs you $1445 over 24m (better off with $18pm vaya sim $650 calls & 1.5gb) if your that low end of a phone user & really don't need calls or gigs you will save $207 over 24m from the above deal but will be heavily restricted with phone use
If your going to go for the $70 virgin plan your better off going 1year voda then a cheap sim the year after
