With quick and easy NFC pairing for mobiles, Bluetooth technology, and more amp power than ever, the CS-265 brings big and brilliant sound to small spaces. A quality front-loading CD player handles regular audio CD and both MP3- and WAV-encoded discs, while iOS mobile users are treated to an ultra-clear USB connection. Or fill a USB flash drive with MP3s and select tracks using the included remote control. Whichever way you play, you’ll appreciate sound that belies the system’s compact dimensions. A redesigned digital amp and powerful 2-way bookshelf speakers help to uncover hidden details in the mix while projecting music deep and wide in your room. Like it punchy, or with a more laid-back presentation? Proper tone controls and a 2-Mode Super Bass function let you find the right balance. Available in bold and vibrant colors, and looking fantastic with its clean, sleek lines, the CS-265 is easily the coolest and best-sounding mini system we’ve ever made at this price. It feels reassuringly weighty, solid, and well worthy of our 65 years in the Hi-Fi business.

While power isn't everything and 20w RMS is reasonable for a small unit, I'm concerned the 20w rating is at 10% THD! Maybe I'm use to good amplifiers which advertise at much lower THDs.

I guess if you can't beat them, you gotta join them (advertising specification), think of crappy little cheap camera phones claiming a 20 mega pixel camera, you get 20mp sized photos at 0.3mp quality.

Anyway, good deal and Onkyo generally make solid sound systems.

i'd agree with all but the "onkyo generally make solid sound systems" comment. Their home theatre receivers (and expensive ones at that) are being shipped from the factory with a part that WILL fail within a few years. I got sucked in and bought one. Now i've gotta front for a new one. That said, this unit doesn't have that part.

I won't buy another onkyo product again after this (plus them closing down streaming radio net-tune capabilities 6 months after i bought a net-tune amplifier the previous time)

Sorry, i don't want to crap on rio's deal as they've been a good store to ozbargain but it seems i somewhat have eh :p
