    what is the normal price?

    • Lets see if JV can web archive this :)

    • +1

This is the normal price. If it had been sold at another price it would have to display a save which it doesn't.

What makes them better than the clear Starmaid tubs that come on special for <$10 at Woolies several times a year?

I happened to be at Masters when they set up lots of them in the centre aisle. Other than the very high RRP they failed to impress me and I held on to my $15 gift card from last time.

    • +1

why, were the a weak feeling plastic or just not great quality.

I am after a couple so this or the bunnings one?

      • +1

Very weak….Simply opening the handles and closing them has caused cracks down the side of the two tubs i have just purchased.

        • +3

Thanks for the feedback eh. I am on the lookout for some storage boxes.

        • +1

close but no cigar. Slightly different bells and whatevers. Dual handles, air vents. size. Nevertheless thanks op's will look at both.

      • +3

yeah, I got to check both out. Vent holes seems a negative for me.

    • +1

      does these have wheels?

  • -3

Not a good product. Inferior Quality. The Bunnings deal posted is a much better deal.
I just went and purchased 2 of these from masters and 1 from Bunnings.
BOTH from Masters have already snapped where the lid locks (also when i was picking them up there were already a few on the shelf which were damaged).
All i did was open the lid and SNAP.
The one from Bunnings is much stronger.

I find that hard to believe Krish89 as I have seen these and they are very good quality and made by a great brand in Keter. If you have a problem with them you should always return them to the store you purchased from with your receipt to get a refund. Do you know what brand the Bunnings ones are?

      • Yes the brand rep is great… unless i was unlucky and got two poorly made ones 😞. Maybe someone else who has purchased can comment…

Or go in store and have a play around, open and close the lid and handle..the rest of the product seems ok, however near the handles is shocking.

The bunnings one has a sticker with ICON PLASTICS, assuming that's the brand, haven't heard of them before though.

I have had a few toolboxes do this (not this brand granted but most of my stuff is from Bunnings or Masters) , but PITA, I end up keeping them and now all my stuff is in a variety of busted boxes and a few good ones. Says something for steel toolboxes I guess

I find the hinges are the worst culprit, sometimes they are so badly moulded that you can't open or close the box without it jumping out of the hinge. Then on top of that there is the fact that they are never square so you fit less in them. Main benefit vs steel box you can't scratch things but even the cheap steel ones to tend to work ok

      • Not sure who's negged you mate. But your 100% spot on.

        • EDIT* Tried uploading photos, FAIL. Not sure how to webshare them sorry.

Link Below…Need i say more? … if that's what you call good quality….

People love to neg on this site, and and don't bother posting a reason. At least I have the dignity to say why if I neg someone.

My down vote was revoked too, which is bull crap, because someone thought it was associated with my other comment probably (when it was actually both) And I take offence with the rules here, because anyone who thinks there is nothing wrong with goods that come out of illegal practices has their some really messed up priorities. Many people appreciate knowing this, and would be as upset finding out that a product was made breaking the law as if it broke when they closed the lid. I am calling for a change to the rules to allow for this.

I also think it would be better if you showed negs along with up votes. Why not allow for people to be called out to back up a statement? You ask for people to do it with a neg for deal, but why not for a new on a comment?

Masters are so damn far. Unfortunately petrol will cost more than I save if I go Bunnings I'm better off

+1 for a good sized tub and for employing locals instead setting up shop in cn.

      Who are you referring to?
The competing brand in this thread is Icon Plastics. 2 branches in Vic, 1 in QLD. Been a LONG time since I read an AboutUs I was pleased to read:
