There are no published T&Cs so best just to have a play around, I have got it working for flights in Sept/Oct in business class.

I have confirmed it is working in The Residence which is a saving of $25,818 from SYD-LHR return.

    Can confirm both codes work on flights to London next month. Why have you tempted me with this? Whyyyy? On the searches I made Tuesdays seem cheaper than Wednesday for some reason.

    3x Points on economy too. Return from SYD - LHR standard economy earns enough points to get a 1 way upgrade from SYD - AUH in Business Class on your next flight.

    Or Business to First same routing.

        Normally, your mileages are added when you actually take the flight. So, get your Etihad's membership and get your mileages. Getting 3x and 4x is one of the perks with Etihad's mileage program AFAIK.

      Intersting … they just say: "From time to time, Economy Class fares categorized as Breaking Deals may be available for sale. Discount will not apply to these Breaking Deal fares, but they will be bookable through etihad.com/amexoffer."

      But when you go through the booking you have no chance to enter a coupon code … so I would say: No it's not possible.

        When you compare the price per mileage (as distance not point) you are correct.

        However it sounds like gorge found price for one-way ticket is expensive than return.

    I'm looking at booking MEL - IST - MEL in June/July

    These prices are all over the place.. some are in excess of $2.5k, some are $1600

    I can't even see a difference if you put the Tuesday code and try a Wednesday flight and vice versa with Wednesday code.

    Mind you the table comes up with prices for each day, you click on them and they change to higher/lower price lol!

    Great work. I just booked return from Melbourne to Rome for two adults and an infant in August for $2564. Got the cheapest possible fare so no chance of points but we saved more than enough anyway!

      Sure is….I go to UK every year to see the fam and I buy my return ticket once I arrive in UK to get me home and back out there the following year - valid for 12 months, but you can only book your return flight upto 11 months at the time of purchase and you HAVE to give a return date….so always check the admin fee to change a flight date (which I have to every year) but for 50-75 quid fee, I still save over $500 on the entire yearly flight.
      My return usually costs 800 quid plus 50-75 admin fee to change date
      Equivalent return from SYD-LHR is $2,200 plus!

    Geez can get flights for $1310 each for two people down from $1730 but still waiting on bankwest platinum card to come in the mail so i can get complementary travel insurance…

    I'll give it until tomorrow afternoon for the card to come but if this expires by then, i'm going to be kicking my head on the wall for next three days… :-/
