    I wasn't that impressed when I visited about 4 years ago not sure if it is any better. The best part was looking at the caste from outside. (Which is free). IF you are in the area you are better of talking a Detour to Daylesford and buying chocolate.

      It reopened in 2013 after a major renovation.

      We went there this January. I hadn't been before and wasn't really expecting too much.
      However, we got there just as it opened and didn't leave until it closed.

      The place isn't that big to occupy a whole day unless you take the time to plan your trip and got to ALL the shows… The Pantomime, Knights skills, Romeo and Rapunzel, Jousting, Militia Training etc. etc. We and kids loved ALL the shows, and had a look around the castle in between shows… Recommend it for people with young kids… Shouldn't have saved mine from the maze though, they'd still be in there if I didn't rescue them…

          Like JV I arrived early with the kids, did all the activities and we were still there at closing. Concept is cheesy, the day was really fun though - one of the best with the kids ever!
