Yes… It's one direction… not my cup of tea, but some might like it, or give it to the kids…

Alternatively, I have noticed a fair few students on here… buy these and resell on ebay for profit. Time consuming exercise… but hey… 12 hours weeks on a commerce/business degree? Why not.

Cheapest on ebay is currently $12 shipped.

*** Also other colours are available… and there are some one direction headphones for $2 shipped too

edit: white is about to be sold out so i replace the link with the red color version.

would hate to see this one direction DEAL not make it to the front page…

      • +5

        Will #undercut4zayn

  • How easy is it to remove the branding?

    • A can of Brasso and a rag should do it. Or if you're willing to put in elbow grease, toothpaste and a rag/toothbrush might work.

  • +2

    Only 4 colours? Not 5? :P

    • Zayn RQ'd a while ago.. get with the times man!

  • can i bulk buy them, rebrand to JB (Justin Bieber) Belieber's and resell for profit/market them to competitors

  • +1

Gave me a nice laugh, might buy a few and give them away for those poor souls who are still using those free flight earbuds…

mate… i am actually looking for spare ones to leave at work when i forget my pair… but just can't click on it… once i see the one direction logo… the mouse weights a ton, the button on it won't work.

the hardware is a bargain, the branding is _____ (you guys can fill it in)

      • Just purchased 3. Hopefully the audio is bearable T.T

        • The headphone (not in ear) has been marked as

"Premium stereo sound quality with on-ear style"

I once bought some cheap Sony headphones for $12 and it has exceeded my expectations.

Cant speak for the in ear ones tho.

@googleyahoo69: Excellent, I purchased the headphones. In the event they produce terrible sound, I could always do with some ear muffs. Chilly winter this year.

        • +1

Bearability depends on whether you are playing 1D songs or not

  • sand the 1D off, good as new

  • +5

I've always wanted some of that One D jelly in my ear!

    • +1

sound quality so good, gives you eargasm…

  • -1

    Nope.

  • The SnapCaps on ear headphones actually don't look bad for $2 delivered. I'll just cover it with black tape.

  • +1

I guess this makes up for the Olympus E-P5! -_-

  • I think people would rather pay to have one direction out of their ears

  • Great find, thanks so much.

I bought 10 pairs, for some young folk that need them.

Available on Amazon UK for 10 Pound per pair ($20 Aus), retail price 30 Pound ($60 Aus)

    4.5/5 stars (86 customer reviews)

    • Aw come on how much can you trust the taste of a 1D fan?? ;-)

But seriously have a look at the 1 and 2 star negative reviews. They don't last. $2 is probably a fair price.

  • If most of my cheap headphones weren't broken or only playing sound out of one ear, there's no way I would have bought these, but I bought a few pairs of the red as backups…

    Good find OP

  • Awesome, good back up headphones.

  • +2

    How's the quality?

Looks like the headphones are sold out, got the pink earbuds. These are going to be fun to wear in public.

  • +1

amazing deal, backed by one of the defining bands of our generation.

    • +1

i'm really hoping Rambo is being sarcastic …..

  • +6

Are these headphones stereo or do they only project sound in one direction?……..

    ……I'll let myself out

  • Bought the pink ones for the wife, she'll have a great laugh when they're delivered.

  • i bought X2

  • No mic..
and only just 4 colours available..

    what a let down..

    PS: missing jv

  • Damn the ozbargain urge to buy things that are cheap! I bought two and don't even need them.

Imagine the look of a senior trying to work this product out: 0ne direction jellies in ear headphones = "What does putting jelly one way in my ear have to do with headphones?" ;-)

  • Thanks op, bought 10 pink and 20 red ones. will come in handy for the neices birthday party giveaways

    • We know its you, Broden.
May you and you family enjoy your mono sounds … (1 direction).

      • Curses,foiled again!

  • received a pair of over the ear for the gimmicks. They are surprisingly comfortable , not that much pressure on ears and sounds decent. its not something i'll wear in public but these are good! quality is on par with about something you'd expect for $20

  • +1

Received my on-ears today. LOL, look… for $2 you could say it's alright, but you should really do yourself a favour a spend a bit more cash. Other than that it's 'OK'.

How it sounds, is there very little soundstage, everything sounds distant (perhaps it's because of the inadequate sealing on your ear). Treble spikes and bass is 'hollow', although nothing I wouldn't expect from a low priced headphone. I think greatest flaw is the casing resonance, vibrations will interfere with the sound on certain bass frequencies. Funny enough I thought it sounded better on my $400 headphone amp than my smartphone, usually these things don't change very much.

Funny quirk, use EQ and turn down sub-frequencies, I reckon they are interfering with the sound.

I'd imagine the in-ear versions are better.

  • got my reds today.. didn't even open, threw it straight into the bin.. my housemate ie
