Melbourne Beard Wash $14.45 (15% off) + $8.20 Shipping

62

We've just launched our new Beard Wash, and we really want you to try it! So we've got 15% off over the next week, ending Friday! Enjoy!

The skin and hair on your face isn’t the same as on top of your head, and hair shampoos are usually far too harsh for beards, leaving dry skin and a raspy beard. So we've formulated Melbourne Beard Wash specifically for use on beards and on the face!

We've ditched all the heavy chemicals found in commercial hair washes and put together an awesome blend of ingredients that work remarkably well to wash and condition your beard, getting rid of all the food, dead skin cells and what ever else you’ve been storing in there! The Macadamia Oil moisturizes the skin and hair, while the Aloe Vera Juice is great for acne and ingrown hairs, soothing inflammation and itchiness.

After washing with Melbourne Beard Wash your beard will feel super clean and soft with an awesome Lychee & Black Tea scent. Pair this with some Melbourne Beard Oil and your beard will look and feel the best it ever has!

Not at all. 15% off Apple, or fuel? Great.

15% off beard oil not so much.

        • +20

Except you posted a deal just a few days ago that was 15% off.

15% in ozbargain is no bargain mate

          do your research

          The irony.

        • +10

Seriously ur comparing my past post?

Yep. You claimed 15% is not a bargain then by the time someone commented on it, disallowing you from editing it, you changed your stance to "it's only a deal when it's a reputable store". Yeah… right.

15% off some unknown new beard shampoo product?

My grand opening deal for my store got 60+ votes when my prices were marginally (1%) cheaper than already established and reputable stores. I still thank the OzBargain community for their loyalty and support. It's this reason why I defend new stores on OzBargain. I've been through it myself and I honestly believe they need all the support they can get.

So in the wise words of you; wow man just wow

      yeh bruh

      • Nah Bro - just rub oatmeal in and leave it there for 1/2 hour, then brush it out. It's the palaeo way….

    • OOOooooOOooOoooOOooOo
My name is Theb-bastion and I don't have enough pointless products.
Its actually Seb astion but unfortunately I have a wisp. Anyway, like I said when it comes to absolutely dead-set "what the freak is the point who invented this nonsense" products, well I just don't have enough. So THIS, this beard wash, makes me overjoyed. I'm am riding my ironic bmx whilst texting you from my even more ironic Nokia 3310, but once I am home will put it right next to my elbow moisturizer and earlobe polish.
      How wonderful.

      • Hmmm? ….. I reckon you are trying way too hard.

        • -1

Just joking around, not trying or caring.

  • +19

    Use shampoo.

If you don't want to have "heavy chemicals", use organic shampoo.

I really don't feel that this is a bargain at all, because it works out to be $144.50 per litre. That's insane for any shampoo.

Also, false advertising. You say you don't want to use "heavy chemicals", but your product has dimethicone as an ingredient.

    http://www.drfranklipman.com/the-truth-behind-the-common-cos…

To put in perspective to see which shampoos are silicon oil free:
    - Herbal Essences
    - VO5
    - Garnier Fructis
    - Tresemme

Your wash may be even worse for people than any drug store brand.

Reason for neg: Misleading and deceptive advertisement.

    Why you need this one?

I'd give it a go. How about a sampler kit - beard wash and oil ~ $10 delivered. My wife would love it. Errrh, me having a clean soft scented beard, not because she has a beard. In fact she doesn't have much hair at all. OK I'll stop now.

  • Hipsterim taken to new heights I guess …I don't grow a beard currently ,even if I did , I don't want to be known as the walking bubble tea stand with all the lychee green tea-ey smell

  • Will this help beards like this?

  • -1

15% off what? 15% off a made up price for a made up product?

  • +1

THis give me agreat idea. I'm going to open and franchise a new store called "Perth pubic wash"

    • +1

i can see that franchise going south real quick

      • Into Rockingham?

  • +2

Actually, i'm with the company on this one.

If I wash my beard with normal shampoo, it makes it all frizzy and raspy and rough. Their beard oils too are quite stunning, softens the beard up beautifully.

I understand some of you might not like the product, but is that a reason to slag off the company and neg the deal?

    • -3

On the flip side I tried beard oil and it half wrecked my face. It's oil. On your face.

      • Oil isn't battery acid.

Hell, your face has oil all over it that your body has produced.

If you had a negative reaction to something you put on your face it's probably 'cause you're allergic to one of the ingredients and it's bloody unlikely it was the oil part that you're allergic to.

        • Jeez I'm copping both sides of the spectrum, aren't I? It was only a fortnight ago I was arguing why petroleum was fine. I have no qualms against oils. At all. My specific issue is where it's being used. Maybe you need to have a beard to understand but I found regardless of how little I used, my beard constantly felt 'greasy', trapped food smells like nothing else, and made the skin underneath break out because it's more oily than a 14 year old working over a chip fryer. Yeah it feels nice for an hour or so after the shower but that's about it.

I'm not an expert but I would assume there is a reason why women don't like oils in their makeup. Of course YMMV. Thanks for the negs guys!

        • @jackary: I have a beard.

Your complaint was that beard oil wrecked your face. You've now clarified you meant "made my beard have oil in it". Which is still silly but not as silly.

        • @tantryl:
I said more than that but OK.

Get a grip, mate. For what its worth, I think you're silly too.

    • Use baby shampoo instead of this.

It's about 1/4th to 1/6th the price and makes the hair soft (relative to regular shampoo/soap).

  • -4

Yep, have to agree with many of the others,
You really want me to try your deal, with only 15% off ???

    • with only 15% off ???

Did you not see the downvoted to oblivion comments above yours?

  • +2

15% off for this product is a deal. Show me where you can get it for a better price.

There are number of deals posted here that are <15% off and receive praise. This one gets mocked… because you wouldn't buy it? Because you don't know the product? Because it's fun to make jokes about hipsters vs. 'manly men'? Those things don't make it not a deal (an 'un-deal'?).

    • The skin underneath a beard can get dry and flaky. Beard oil helps - you could use another oil or moisturiser, or ride it out, but that's a personal preference.
    • Beards can feel better with some shampoo. Some people like shampoo A, some like shampoo B. Again, personal preference and doesn't make this any less of a deal, IMHO.

Source: I have a beard and am not a hipster (I'm a dad, don't have time for that shit). I have zero association with the company.

    Carry on…

  • I make (and sell) my own but good stuff mate! Ignore the jealous kiddies that can't grow the beard yet …

If you are actually looking for a product that is basically the same as this but for $1.15 per 100ml, Priceline have Men+Care 2 in 1 Daily Deep Clean 300 ml Shampoo+Conditioner on special (1/2 Price) this week. Sure, your beard won't smell like Apple pie, well unless you've just eaten an Apple Pie. Save the $11 and go buy two Apple Pies.

Hope too much money wasn't invested in this doomed business venture.
