Noticed a few laptops actually cheaper on their Ebay store than their website (suprise!).

Asus 15.6" TP500LN-CJ035H W8.1 Convertible 2-in-1 - $1045.15 on Ebay before discount and $1299 on their site
TOSHIBA Satellite 15.6" S50t-B001 W8.1 Notebook - $1033 on Ebay before discount and $1089 on their site
HP OMEN 15.6" 15-5009TX W8.1 Gaming Notebook - Black - $2041.91 on Ebay before discount and $2399 on their site

Both the Asus and Toshiba have 1366*768 resolutions.

You would think full hd would be standard at $1000+ laptops.

Don't know much about the Hp but looks like an expensive gaming laptop like Alienware.

Agreed. No place for that resolution at that price point today.

Phones for half the price are now over 2K res, my 11yo Dell Inspiron 8600 was 1900x1200. Laptops really dropped the ball in recent years.
