Dear OzBargainers,

Mike here from MEElectronics. Many of you (who frequent Head-Fi.org, I'm guessing) have asked for a re-run of this M6 PRO deal from earlier this year. So, here it is.

Edit: Noisy Motel is now out of inventory and taking backorders, but expecting the next shipment on June 3rd. This will still be quicker to destination than ordering from our website. Very sorry for the delay

M6 PRO Universal Fit Musician's In-Ear Monitors: AUD $63.96 Shipped (20% off)

Coupon Code: OZB_M6PRO . Promotion ends on June 2nd. Free shipping within Australia via Australia Post. Typically delivers in 1-5 business days.

A bit about the M6 PRO: the M6 PRO is an in-ear monitor designed for amateur and pro musicians as an all-in-one audio solution for stage, gym, and street. It is an evolution of our older M6 Sports model, which for many years was popular with musicians looking for an inexpensive and reliable IEM. The M6 PRO utilizes the same over-the-ear design with memory wire for a locked-in and comfortable fit but adds detachable, user-replaceable cables, new drivers delivering clearer and more balanced audio performance, and additional accessories including a spare cable and Comply Foam eartips. The spare cable features an inline microphone and remote for smartphones and other devices (see our mic/remote info page for remote compatibility info).

  • Does anyone know where to get replacement cables if needed?
meelec has some but with shipping to Aus, it adds up to $20.

    • $20 delivered for a replacement cable is pretty good.

    • Will see if Noisy Motel will consider stocking a couple as well.

  • Damn these look sick for the price. Maybe I'll get a pair when my m-duos die :)

    Thanks Mike!

  • any more deals for the air fi matrix 2? :)

    really keen in getting 1

    • Yes, we have an "all-Air-Fi" deal in the works with Noisy Motel. Just need to get everything in place to run it. Hopefully next week or the week after :)

I have these and they are awesome. Much better than the M-Duo I think, but they are obviously targeted at different demographics. The M6 Pro are very comfortable and the sound is more neutral (less bassy) than the M-Duo, but it still has a slight V shaped sound I would say. Getting the wire shaped to your ear can be a bit dicky but once you get used to it it's fine. I think they look great too, I like being able to see the insides and they do look very "pro-audio" when they are in your ears. 10/10 would buy again.

    • Thanks, that's excellent to hear :). We first had the idea for the M6 PRO way back in 2013 so it's been a long road. Very happy with how it turned out.

I'm a big fan of the replacement cables, majority of headphones that have broken have been due to the 3.5mm jack.

  • Hah they look like my Shure se846s. This is not a bad price for these for a backup travel pair.

  • Purchased!

  • Can the memory wire be removed and the earphones worn cable down?

    • You won't be able to wear them cable down because of the shape of the housings and the angle of the nozzles. Our upcoming flagship model has a special housing shape that works both ways, but the M6 PRO is just for cable up wear.

      • so you're saying it can only be worn with the wire looped over the top of the ear?

        • Correct

How do these compare to Klipsch S4?

  • Done! Another great deal from Noisy Motel.(and MEElectronics) Highly recommended

    Hi All,

Noisy Motel is now out of inventory and taking backorders.

They should be receiving the next shipment on June 3rd to cover all backorders. This will still be quicker to destination than ordering from our website. Very sorry for the delay.

  • Do these play nice with Android devices?

edit: Found the compatibility guide: https://www.meelec.com/Articles.asp?ID=155

    • Yes, modern ones like the Nexus 4/5/6, Galaxy SII and newer, LG G series, and so on work great.

Kudos for MEElec for using local shop Noisy Motel for this deal, which is, IMHO, the BEST audio shop in Australia, Billy is an absolutely top bloke!!

    • Thanks :) Billy's been great to work with!

  • God damn this is tempting; but I already have a Yamaha EPH-100 and Xiaomi Piston 2…
