      • What's the free baggage allowance

You are allowed one piece of cabin baggage of up to 7kg and/or 1 laptop bag or 1 handbag onboard, each of which should not exceed the >size dimensions. Our overhead compartments in the aircraft cabin are built to hold a certain size and weight of baggage. Anything >exceeding these dimensions put our guests at risk of injury from falling objects should there be turbulence mid-air.

Size Dimensions: Cabin baggage should not exceed dimensions of 56cm X 36cm X 23cm.
Weight: Cabin baggage must not weigh more than 7kg

India doesn't seem to be somewhere I'd like to be this month…

Over 1000 people have died because of heat wave in the northern parts. Best time to go will be after October and before April.

True that. With temps hitting 45-50 degrees celcius and the monsoon season on the way, it doesnt surprise me that the air fares are so cheap right now.

  • Upto which date? I need to fly to India beginning of December from Sydney

  • Just wondering, do you have any good flight deals to Colombo from Melbourne? for June or July?

      • I'd second this request! Would love to go to CMB anytime in the next year

    Hi,

Quick question. I am looking to travel around 20th of december to the 3rd of jan 2016
Can i expect any deals around this time? or due to it being peak season do i hedge my bets and just book early?

    Cheers

    • Sorry - I don't know if deals will be released for that time period.

fair enough… appreciate the quick response.

  • Hi Rep
Is there a cheap flight in September, Mel - Blr return. Cheers

  • Hi Rep,
I was trying to book a flight from Perth through your website, it asks me to select from 3 agents, one of them is Cheapoair which is the cheapest of all. Is this a legit agent ?

  • Great site to pull up few low cost flight connections which most travel sites don't show.
After selecting the required flights in iwantthatflight site, it routes us to few agents like Bravofly.com.au for the booking.
Bravofly charged me in Euros and also included a surcharge of $10-$20 for payments through Paypal.
Its not Bad, but maybe worth considering to book directly in AirAsia site as I read there is no extra charges for payments through Paypal in AirAsia site and ticket fare is same as indicated in Bravofly.

Just one advantage with Bravofly is that, they have an optional pass called 'Full Flex' for $40 to $70 approx. If what they indicated is true, this adds quite a bit of flexibility to the ticket like cancelling/rescheduling anytime before 48 hours of the trip and we get 90% of the ticket fare back as bravofly vouchers which can be used in next 12 months. It is also mentioned that if we did not had to use the 'Full Flex' pass and make our travel as per the booked dates, the pass value of $40 to $70 will be refunded. I am unable to confirm this yet. Will be good if someone can add some more insights on this.
