    nope…. rather the polar loop.

Had the fitbit HR version, the heart rate was a gimmick (this watch doesn't have it though) and the quality of the watch is substandard. You have to be so careful not to get any water in it as it will not resist water at all. To this day not sure if maybe washing my hands or my sweat caused water to get in the watch.

    • I would suggest trying MI Band. Waterproof and fantastic battery life. No screen though.

    • How is a heart rate monitor on an exercise tracker a gimmick?

      • the heart rate monitor is a gimmick, as it doesn't track the heart rate properly. If the heart rate monitor actually worked as a proper heart rate monitor like a chest strap it would be great but this one has trouble reading the heart properly. On many occasions I looked at the heart reading while cycling or running and 50% of times it couldn't give me a reading or gave me a reading of 70 or so when I had been cycling for a while pumping my heart out hence why the fitbit HR heart rate monitor is a gimick.

        • That's weird, because every review says that the HR tracking is accurate and works well. My wife and I both have one, and they work perfectly too.

        • @jjcf:

Not when exercising the heart rate monitor on many occasions could not display the heart rate, on resting it displayed heart rate but from what I saw i don't think it was very accurate based on what my normal heart rate is, at times it was displaying a heart rate lower than my normal resting heart rate.

When exercising it on many occasions struggled to display a heart rate 50% of the time just showing "—" on the screen and at times it displayed what was possibly a reasonable heart rate for the activity. It seemed to simply grab snippets when it could. Also wearing a chest strap with a garmin 500 doing the same bike exercise for the same distance and time it showed quite a vary in the calories burnt.
