Needs to be cheaper than $679 to be a deal.

    • +6

You'd think it would have to be closer to $400 to be considered a bargain.

    • True, but this one comes with a SELFIE-STICK!!!

  • +5

Or, buy a Galaxy S6 for 700 dollars today.

  • +3

Iphone 5s? Not even an Iphone 6.

  • or.. buy something better and flush $300

5s does not even come in the 128gb size. It comes in 16, 32 and 64gb storage sizes.

Would people really pay > $700 for a previous gen iPhone? Sorry but the Apple crowd confuse me.

    My head hurts.

    • I would hope even an Apple fan would recognize that this isn't a good price.

  • +1

Is this what Apple buyers consider a deal?
brand new S6 or G4 is cheaper.
Just one of the many reasons I'll never buy Apple.

I'd MUCH rather take a $400 OnePlus over any iPhone - I just don't get the fascination with them.

I know this'll likely get negged into oblivion, but it's how I feel.

    you are dreaming, right?

    worst deal ever.

TOTALLY… not a deal… really want to NEG this… iPhone 6s coming soon…guess this post should move to a new topic… "Not-so Ozbargain"
bit surprised this can be call as a deal…

  • So these phones are "australian stock" yes/no?

That means they were supplied by apple australia direct to you from the apple warehouse in australia yes/no?

    Thank you

  • Ridiculous price for an old phone.

  • +1

This is the complete opposite of a bargain.

  • This is like a troll deal

  • +1

    $729 for a dozen?

  • -2

A lot of people are negging the deal for the fact that Apple has a monopoly on premium prices not for the fact that's it's not cheapest deal for iPhone 5s in Australian stock. Cheapest Australia stock comparison I can find is office works for $749.

    • If there was a 50% off deal on a $1000 diamond HDMI cable, it still wouldn't be a deal would it?

      • So you saying if there was 50% off a Lamborghini it wouldn't be a deal?

        • If it is a model from 2013, and soon 2015 model will be released, I would probably wait to grab the newest model or wait till the newest model comes out at least for possible price change. Price will more than likely fall. It's going to become 2 gen old phone soon (within 3 months?) and probably that's going to reduce the price of the iPhone 6 and older models. It's not a deal because of that, imo.

I've not even mentioned Android phone, I am proud of myself. Whether people would consider an Android phone as a substitute would depend on people. It's a personal preference.

        • @AznMitch: I agree 100%. I think it's ridiculous that people would pay such a high price for an outdated model, hence why I have not + the deal. . my comment was purely that people are negging based on their phone preferences and opinions and not according to rule guidelines.

        • @Slo20: I personally think Android phones do at the very least as well as iPhones do in what they do (at the very least to an extent where the price difference is not warranted). That being said, I don't really see anyone who's negging out of iPhone hate. Some people didn't really show their reasons behind it (which I guess you can interpret as "out of iPhone hate"), but I think the main reason behind the negs is, it's too expensive for an old phone.

This doesn't look like a deal at all and given that it's posted by a rep, I frankly think that it's not that strange to see people negging without stating the obvious. I've seen fair bit of this happening. Not that I approve of it, but it's just what I've seen happening.

I love the part on the website that claims:

    "it’s also incredible value."

    Oh pleeeeeze.

  • I'd buy it for a dollar.

A fool and his money are soon parted!

  • Deal or no deal? No deal! - Was in Japan and they were going for $365
