        Its the old marketing technique of quoting "RRP" and then quoting "their" price.
        Doesn't really work nowadays that well, because most people know that a product is rarely sold at RRP.

          @CheapRichGuy: Accent is fine, same as my Aussie one. The high pitch and volume is scary though with 5 of them all going at once.

      I bought a set of these from a similar sale at Myer last year. Best travel investment ever. They are so comfortable to wear, stay in place while jogging yet comfortable enough to to sleep in, and on a recent international flight I had a baby next to me for a 14 hr trip, but I didn't hear a thing!

      Will never trust a Philips steam product. Had one of their steam stations, it was a scalding hot water volcano machine until it eventually died after 13 months. Went with a Tefal, much better.

        Really? Mine is pretty solid. Well after I got the first one replaced when it died 11.9 months in. The great thing about Myer is that I took it back and a newer model had come out so they gave that to me instead for no extra charge. If I wanted to be a real sting I could just go back every 12 months and say the one I have is broken and get a new one.

          I have been using Parrot Zik 2.0 for 6 months.
          Pros
          * great touch control feature
          * 5 levels of noise cancellation/amplification
          * adjustable sound preference to suit your taste
          * nice overall design

          Cons
          * heavy and tight, not comfortable wearing for more than 1 hour
          * overall sound stage is not as good as QC25
          * last only 6 hours after full charge

          I bought Parrot Zik mainly because its exterior design. Occasionally, people around me ask about the headphones and starts conversations. I guess it has attractive design compared to usual headphones.

          Try Before Buy
          Apple Store usually has Parrot Zik on display, I would recommend you to try its fitting before buying.
          Large JB Hi-Fi (e.g. Sydney Pitt St Westfield) has QC25 to try on.

          Yep I agree. The sound quality from the Parrot is amazing, I wear it in the middle of my uni library and can't hear a thing. However it is very heavy and has a thin head strap, making it really uncomfortable after a while.

          I wanted them purely for travel, and in that regard, nothing beats Bose NC. The weight of the Parrot was a big negative for travelling too.

      Yep, did it.

      2x$200 DJ's gifts cards for $320 (I have multiple AMEX cards).
      Price match Myer @ DJs (Indooropilly) for $319.
      So by my reckoning I have a pair of QC25s for ~$255. ($319 - $40 from GC1 - $25 from GC2).

      If I can get in a quick weekend to NZ skiing in the next two months, another ~$32 off that. :)

      (I was ready to pay $320 at DJs when I bought the gift cards a few weeks back. Waiting until now and price matching Myer was just blind luck.)

    That's a good price for the Samsonite luggage. Usually everyone's base price is 40% off and Myer only really has 40% "sales". I'm devo this sale didn't come up earlier.

    Damn you OzBargain. Just spent another $319 on a pair of Bose QC25. I played around with them on the weekend and they were so comfortable!!! By far the most comfortable pair of headphones I've ever worn.

        Would you guys recommend these QC25 headphones for using like on the train, listening to uni lectures and things? I have never owned NC Headphones before, just use simple ear plugs but passengers are distracting me too much, would they be worth getting ?

          Yes I would recommend. But it's best to go and try them on for yourself at JB Hifi or something too see if you like it!

          No. NC headphones do not cancel out voices and high frequencies; they cancel out low frequency sounds. They are great inflight and when exposed to constant low frequency sound. If you do not wish to hear others on the train, get a good pair of isolating in-ear. I would only recommend QC25s to frequent flyers because of their excellent noise cancelling and comfort. QC25's sound is warm and ordinary at best, and terrible with NC off.

    I just returned from BJ Hifi in North Sydney and they wouldn't price match !!
    They offered QC25 at $344 after seeing proof of the deal on Myer website (they didn't believe me at first asking to see it in writing)

    So I said "So you don't price match?", he replied with "Yes we do", but I said "You won't", he responded "we only price match on in-store items not online buying". I walked away saying that it is also Myers in-store price but you have gone to the on-line shop…..Smith Heads!!!

    So I'm walking away and he shouts out "So do you want them for $344 and I'll throw in a freebie……." wait for it……… "….a camera case"

    I bought the Bose sport in ear couple months back, hadn't used it until last week to realise it wouldn't fit my ear no matter the size of earbuds. packaging and the earbuds, the armband were nice, good quality. But OW does better at $99. since I can't use it I am looking at these.

    is the on ear/ over ear can minimise the noises somehow? The Beats Solo HD i had before was a disaster, I had to volume up almost 8 while on the train. and it is on ear. dont know if bose is a different.

    I price matched the Bose QC25 Black at JB HiFi this afternoon. Used $200 gift vouchers I had so pretty happy. Showed them the white ones at Myer.com.au which were showing as in stock. He said yep that's fine, what colour would you like. So glad I bit the bullet with these at a really good price.

    Thanks to Malouphix I just did the same trick at JB Brisbane City and they price matched for $319! Bargin! I showed him the White as well On my phone but I said ahh I want black and he thought about it for a second and said ok fine…

    So Jb is Defo worth a try as Myer seems out of stock of black everywhere…
