Hello OB!

I've been waiting to buy one of these beautiful, world famous satchels since 2013 and this is probably the best discount I've come across. With this sale, you could save up to $175 after the shipping discount. They've been worn by Taylor Swift, Zooe Deschanel, and a bunch of other famous people.

Their bags are all handmade, genuine leather, and there's also the option of having something like your initials embossed on the front.

Personally, I went with the 15 inch oxblood batchel to fit my laptop. Do your research though! A 13 inch satchel won't necessarily fit a 13 inch laptop. The bags do fit a lot though and stretch as the leather wears in.

I'm not sure when the sale expires but I heard somewhere it would be on the 15th.

    I purchased one of their batchels three years ago for school. It was great quality, but the buckles are the most annoying thing in the world to open and close. Just a warning for anyone who might need to quickly get stuff into and out of their bag. I ended up selling mine shortly after cause I couldn't deal with the buckles.

      Thanks for the comment! This is one of the main things I considered from reading up about reviews and things. You can get the magnetic ones as astrodude mentioned, but personally I like the original buckles as its just classic and authentic. And for travelling it's pretty difficult to pickpocket you with one of these bags! After a while, the leather around the buckles also softens and its easier to do, but of course does take a bit more time to open/close. But doing research is important to know what you like anyway :)

          Doesn't appear any are on sale sorry! What I would do is get one from Leather Satchel Co. as they're on sale and are similar in quality and style, then for a small fee you can customise the bag you want and put magnetic closures on. Worth checking them out!

    Great looking classic bags and I have heard very high quality, but even with the discount, very high prices.
    If you want a similar look, hit up ebay for knock offs. If you want this brand, then this is a great deal, especially with the shipping discount.

      Good point! There are lots of similar products out there these days. If you want something that will last a lifetime of use, get one, otherwise if you just want a cool looking casual bag, go for something cheaper.

      they have a whole range of bags and colours. their batchels (briefcase/satchels) are definitely unisex.

    Thanks for this OP, and don't let the comments here faze you. CSC bags aren't mainstream here but seem to be much more popular overseas — I've also had my eye on a leather satchel for a couple of years due to the trend.

    Anyway, just to note that a competitor, The Leather Satchel Co, is also having a sale, with their 14" deeper gusset bags being particularly attention worthy. Satchels in general can't hold much if people want to use them as all-in-one bags for school or work, so the extra depth does help here. Tons of customisation options too. If the needs aren't so specific though, CSC is better value with their current sale, and right now I'm trying to decide on what colour I should get of a discounted CSC 13".

    In the interest of having choice, Zatchels is having a fairly significant sale right now too, although their satchels come with a conspicious brand tag and anecdotally the leather is thinner.

      Thanks for this! Was starting to wonder what I'd gotten myself into signing up to this site, but I have hope again, haha. I think Leather Satchel Co. is really great too, didn't realise they had a sale at the moment! Nice wide variety, some really unique patterns on some of them :) Hope you love your satchel when you get it!

    Ordered a 11" classic satchel in pink :)

    I don't follow the prices on these bags, but seems like a better than normal discount.

    I noticed ASOS has sales on these sometimes too, so that's an alternative if you can wait.

      same here. still no shipping notification.

      customer service is bad. emailed to ask if i could add the bicycle symbol as talked about in the previous comments. did not even get a response.

        Yep customecustomer service has been terrible so far. I ordered on the weekend and sent an email that same weekend to request change of colour. After a few days, i got a reply saying it can't be changed as my order is being processed. That's fine if that's the case but that was a week ago and i still don't have any shipping confirmation.

        Interestingly, my sister ordered a day after me and she got her's last Friday even with embossing which i did not get.

          Emailed them this morning to ask if it has shipped. Got a reply saying they're busy with too many emails and will answer later. Didn't get any reply after that, but much later in the day I got a shipping notice. At least it's on its way now.

          @soggy: i got shipping notification yeaterday as well. Eta 30 june. All in all, it is pretty poor.

          Btw my sister received a defective product. There were some scuff marks on the leather. It is not that obvious but visible at certain angle only. She will keep it since she cannot be bothered to send it back to UK but will definitely let them know.

    I got mine on the 24th of June after ordering on the 14th , a little delay on the Black, got mine embossed as well, no issues with the leather and its breaking in nicely!

    They are a pretty small company, so I wasn't expecting uber fast shipping. They have a small amount of staff, so overall I'm happy with the service time.

    As for scuffs on the leather, its a leather bag…. its going to get scuffed! Adds character.
