Anyone here tried Mr. Burger before? Did it live up to the hype?
I've been to most/all the CBD locations and haven't been disappointed. Definitely one of the best burgers for the price. I prefer it over Huxtaburger which I find is small, lower quality and overpriced.
I had Mr Burger a few times. It's ok. Not my favourite.
What's your favourite?
So far it is still Brother Burger on Brunswick Street.
I need to give Andrews burgers a shot next. Haven't got around to it.
Mr. Burger is very good, the line is always massive. Especially their chips with ham/cheese.
anyone recommend actually buying one of those apartments??
I think the apartments are pretty good. For me a prime criteria (apart from price per Sq m) is location and Central Equity tends to pick some pretty good locations to build on. This makes it a more desirable location for rentals and eventual sale down the track.
With regards to the burgers, they are AWESOME! I also like Brother Burger (as mentioned above) but I rate Mr Burger a little higher, mainly because BB builds the burgers a bit too high for my taste and I can't open my mouth that wide to take a clean bite out of it.
Anyone go last time it happened?.. Trying to work out whether it's worth the trouble, even for an OzBargainer..
If you are in the area and have some time to spare go along, they will take you through the sales process before you can have a burger. The last one I went to they were about 80% sold, the only apartments left were ones they were trying to get rid of to move onto a new project so not very good ones. This one seems to be the launch so if you are in the market could be good.
